I agree with Regis. A top rider in the world has an opinion and it should be heard.

As far as I'm concerned, Chad Reed was there, walked the track, rode the track, predicted what would happen, saw it happen, has won a supercross championship, a National championship, has given James Stewart and Ricky Carmichael all they could handle, and has nothing to lose by telling the truth. Anyone who disagrees with him can fuck off.

Err on the side of caution is where you draw the line. When a champ comes up and says its dangerous is where you draw the line. Common sense is where you draw the line.

So what if every now and then an element wasn't as exciting as it could have been. Atleast if you err on the side of caution you don't put top guys in the hospital.

Loads of you guys are missing the point...

I'm not saying he wasn't coming up short... I'm saying if the landing ramp wasn't a mini fucken everest RV would have just cased it a little and ridden out or at worst had a small crash... Like KW had a few rounds back...

Those bikes can take it... but not if the ramps are stupid...

It's not about being a hard obstacle either, or don't do it if you aren't man enough or whatever other shit you may think... 450s have removed that aspect of it, as long as you give it the gas, you'll jump far enough... it was smaller than a lot of jumps we see for sure

It's about there being some leeway if the riders aren't absolutely perfect.... smaller ramp, RV is fine, we have a title...

Deal with it

Chads the man because he'll say it like it is unlike everybody else who is so concerned about being PC they'll never say what they think and they all sound like stamped out clones.

I think you can stop wasting your breath. Never underestimate the capacity some people have to insist on being a dumbass.

Not to mention he won the fucking heat race and then complained.

If he got 6th and complained maybe ignore him.

Oh yeah, he wasn't in the points chase either so had no self serving motivations.

All signs point to Reedy trying to save somebodies ass, anybodies ass and everybodies ass.......but a couple slipped through the crack.

And he's right. A rider rep needs to be hired.

What you don't understand dick licker is I agree the landing was fucked up. I am saying It wasn't the landing where his trouble started it was the take off. He came off fucked up and ended worse and it wouldn't have mattered if the landing was 2 ft lower. BTW mental midget I am not even close to being the only one that thinks that.

So let me get this straight, what you're saying is the take-off was the problem, or was it landing? It's still a little foggy for me. And what if the landing is 2.5 feet lower? And what is a mental midget, a tall dumb guy or smart short guy?

Ah, but riddle me this BatRev, which hurt more, the take-off or the landing?

Maybe this has been discussed and I missed it. It looked like the bike hitting RV made the crash that much worse. It would have been bad regardless, but it looks like he actually accelerates and his body rotates when the bike slams him. Without the bike adding to the crash, I wonder if he would have suffered the same injury? That was brutal.
