Please direct positive prayers, mojo, or any good will you may have in your arsenal towards 6d Helmets co-founder and SoCal MX legend, Robert Reisinger. Robert suffered life-threatening spinal injuries Sunday in a crash. I know few details, other than he was heading into surgery late last night.
I’ve known him for over four decades and he is an amazing man, tough as nails, in great shape and as core moto as it gets.
You’ve got this, Robert!
Positive thoughts from Alberta.
Shit, thoughts and prayers for him. It is a tough road
MXA covered this in their Saturday at the Glen feature a few days ago. Very serious.
I don't know Robert but sounds like an amazing guy. Hoping for the very best outcome.
Praying for him!

I had the pleasure of racing and meeting both Robert and Bob from 6D. I consider them both as friends of mine. Those two at 6D are core motocrossers with the safety of the sport at the forefront of their minds.
I am sending good vibes your way, Robert, for you too, Bob, I know this has got to be hard for you as well!!
Prayers for a positive outcome.
Is it me or has there been a ton of spinal injuries lately? Way more than usual.

Robert is a long time friend of mine as well. FYI he founded the mountain bike company Mountain Cycle, was an original partner at Rocket Exhaust and did the original engineering and designs of the octagonal muffler bodies along with end caps, intake flanges and many other parts that are still in production today. Plus he's done engineering work for many other companies over the years. He has been an integral part of designing the safest helmets available, 6D. Truly a very talented human and hard core moto guy. He's got some serious injuries but there are some good signs from the doctors. Keep him in your prayers.
Thoughts and prayers to Robert!
Positive vibes and prayers for Mr. Reisinger.
It's been a really tough year so far for So Cal dirt bike racers. I personally know of 2 people being paralyzed, and 3 deaths so far this year. And I know 5 people(including myself) who have spent at least a day in the hospital. I'm currently nursing 7 rib fractures, and some fairly serious connective tissue damage- and for the first time I'm considering myself "extremely lucky". (Still not quitting anytime soon) Astars can't get the moto airbag out soon enough.
I use to ride at Piru a lot back in ‘14-‘15 and I would see Robert there often, pounding laps. Always a nice guy, although I didn’t get to know him very well. He did give me his cell and told me to call him when I wanted to upgrade to a better helmet. I was wearing Bell Moto 9’s…
I never took him up on the discounted 6D helmet he offered, but I did end up in the FXR/6D helmets about 7 years ago and can’t imagine wearing anything else. Fits me big head better than all other brands and has the best safety technology in the helmet industry, IMHO.
Keep fighting Robert, you have a lot of people pulling for you !!
Positive vibes for Mr. Reisinger…. At 56 years old, I just had my worst crash ever as far as injuries go. The bikes today make it very easy to go fast, when an old guy hits the deck hard, we just don’t spring up like we used to…thankfully I had my 6D helmet on during my crash…
