Masonry I thought you were being facescious but are you serious?!?!

That was a full works bike, as was the bike he is meant to ride in the states...

It's obviously not that bad as Tommy Searle's 250 is quick...

Facts most likely are Tony doesn't like something and is rocking the boat... And Mikey needs to take charge, but he won't, he's a mental puss...
if tony doesn't trust roger decoster what makes anybody think he'd trust a bunch japanese wannabee austrians? Smile

I will never understand why people think KTM makes a shitty bike that just can't win. They own the off road world and do an excellent job at the GP's. They just don't spend the money for talent here like the other four manufacturers. I hope Mike stays on the pumpkin.

Let's face it! If the top guys in the US actually THOUGHT they could win on it, they would ride it! There is a reason you do not see our top 450 riders on this bike and it isn't just about money. Say what you want, but every top level US guy that has been on a KTM bike in the MX/SX class has not faired well at all. That can't be argued.

They can run things over in the GP's that you can not run here due to the "Production Rule". "Off Road" racing is a completely different animal than "Outdoor National" racing. I guess we will see if they dominate the GP here if we have some "top level" US riders at Glen Helen.

imho tony at the races on sunday/saturday isn't really the big issue, although it is a problem, just ask team suzuki, it's the other 6 days of the week that worry me and should be worrying gwenny and rectalrocket. Wink

Jeff Alessi on the MotoConcepts yzf450 Yes.. Mike Alessi on the MotoConcepts yzf450 Not Happening. Unless it's at the very last minute with NO testing. As of this morning a MotoConcepts bike hasn't been ordered to be built for Mike Alessi. And that's a fact.

Serisously?? They don't ride it because of what was already said they don't pay the higher salaries. These guys are here to make money no matter what color the bike is. From the way KTM is amping up I would expect to see a big push and a big team for next year with the linkage and the 450 killing 350.

I get it now, pc 250 bikes are better than works 450s
Mikey used to holeshot on his KTM SX250F over the PC bikes on a regular basis.. can't speak on the suspension, but, I don't believe that KTM power has ever been a problem...IMO

Here's my deal. KTM is trying to make a revolution* in motocross and they have chosen Mike Alessi as their company's face.

If it works out, he'd be considered a pioneer in the sport just as Doug Henry.

He has the unique opportunity to remembered as a champion, pioneer, and the guy that brought KTM its first big bike championship.

If he deserves the bad rap and rumors or not, who knows. I don't know how someone can spend months in Europe, then stir up a whirlwind in a within weeks of landing. He made a commitment to KTM to represent the brand. Beyond the standard press releases, he seems to be failing.

*If it's a revolution or not, is a separate argument.

Nice edit. Not comfortable with your initial response?

"End game"? Either enlighten us with the answer or don't post again until your sponsor gives you your 30 day chip. You whining about me or Rocket Launcher in any and every thread Tony Alessi-related including those we didn't even post in just shows you view our opinion as a threat.
