Bailey?
I've received enough clarification to feel confident enough to say that Adam Bailey has left WSX.
Now, whether he left or was fired has been extremely difficult to figure out.
Oh yeah, stick a fork in them.
Parting is such sweet sorrow.....

Well, according to him, he left.
Astonishing, isn't it?
So now WSX is going to be operated by the South American politician with the Russian wife and the rich Euro kid?.....
From day one, you had to wonder if anyone was operating anything regarding WSX...
Ask Kenny if the checks are still clearing?
I was against this series trying to poach riders from our SX/MX series and happy they failed at that but the people jumping for joy at the series seemingly being defunct are pretty lame .
Great for Americans, shit for everyone else they will never get to see their heros ride in real life.
TBH it did nothing to the American series and was far from attracting any heroes other than Kenny...you will be better off with some off season races to attend that will more than likely attract more and better racers than WSX did...
Should I also mention that half the teams exercised their buy-out clause and are gone?
Dang Adam was the only decent one in the group. He seems very level headed and realized the other fella came in too hot and dug wsx in a hole immediately.
Is that breaking news? Also who? Or is this a 'what is the breaking news'? post?
My apologies if I mislead anyone with my earlier response.
To be more clear.....
the 2nd post on this page (3) has your answer….
The WSX Instagram profile was deleted today: https://www.instagram.com/wsxchampionship/
Welp, there it is.I appreciated the concept and effort but paying out millions of dollars to one racer and having the rest of the field race for next to nothing was never going to work.
Pit Row
Facebook page has gone to sx open as well
It's easy to put the blame other people. WSX continued to do some idiotic stuff after the other fella went away, Bailey is definitely not without a significant part of the "blamepie" of why this whole thing failed.
Either way, i doubt anyone will try to do something similar on a global level again in a very long time which is a shame for fans and riders.
At least, the official website is not down yet, and still announcing a schedule is coming soon...
Eh? Phil Nicoletti got paid multiples of what the winner receives in 250E or 250W for finishing 7th by the promoter.
That's the ONE thing you can credit WSX with: the teams were the only ones who got what was promised (except on the "fairness" item with Roczen's remuneration deal). It deserves to be mentioned since the package was veeeery generous and WSX was losing loads of money at every race.
For the rest... The least that can be said is the whole thing has never been anything else than disappointing -if you expected anything. Especially if you consider the fact it's supposed to be an official FIM world championship and remember their original dithyrambic communication.
Does this mean Kenny is racing outdoors?
A broken tibial plateau is not a collarbone...
FIM is not going to let the world supercross license sit idle for long, someone will pay for it. I think they'll stay closer to home and chose a European promoter this time.
SX Global were the only ones interested.
The FIM thought Infront would jump on it like a dog on a bone, and they wouldn't touch it with a ten feet pole...
Good luck with that. This whole thing started with the FIM being butt hurt Feld and the AMA told them to take a hike....Bailey and others found some crazy investors willing to dive in and the business model failed.
There was a business model?
