KTM group seems to push up their model launches every year by another week or so. Historically, we don't see Kawasaki announce an all-new model until June or July. I don't expect that to be different here either.

Not looking for a model launch yet. Just a spy photo. Surprised nothing is leaked yet.

Kawasaki doesn't have a works/factory team in MX2 and doesn't really support one at that level in the IA2 series (All-Japan Nationals 250 class). So they're keeping it under wraps.

Obviously, it's going to look like the new 450, has a heavily updated engine on the top-end side, and is going to have Showa suspension instead of KYB like the current model.

aren't the current forks one the 2024's drawbacks though? I'm more concerned about it being a heavier 250 but we'll see.

Showa only does 49mm these days on production motocross models.

No the kyb forks on the kx 250 and the kyb that came on the 450 were alot better then the showas were. Dont get me wrong the 49s can be made great and their by no means bad but the kyb in my opinion are better then showas on those chassis.
