I know, Webb's delusional fans on here should actually listen to him. He knows he has absolutely nothing speed wise or skill wise for Jett.
I seem to remember Jett starting in something like fifteenth place on a track that was very difficult to pass on. I also remember Webb being the fastest on the day for perhaps the first time in his 450 career. However, this was an anomaly. You can't use one race as evidence of something. It's also illogical for you to use one race as the basis for your claims about Webb and yet at the same time refuse to accept multiple races by Jett as evidence he is the fastest rider. You're simply biased.
How would you know. You can't see past his ballsac.

Jett is great, but sooner or later he will wad up. Webb was just back there saying, ill take third and hope somebody wads…..not that he could have beat jett, but its how you win championships. At this point its about who has a bad day more then who has a good one.
Jett does have quite a few oh shit moments but so far it appears he is skilled enough to get out of them.

But.... since the very beginning, there's been plenty of skilled riders who eventually fall victim and are just along for the ride and are completely at the mercy of the moto God.
Literally every rider ever is potentially one mistake away from serious injury. Or a mechanical, or another riders mistake etc. can injure them through no fault of their own.
These thing’s don't just accumulate and injuries become due like a debt. It’s not a matter of you have had 10 near misses. So next one you're getting fucked up.
Likewise a rider who rarely makes mistakes doesn’t get a freebie when they crash. Jett is no more likely to crash and get hurt than his opponents are.

Its definitely possible and probably likely that hell wad it a few times in his career… the sport is super dangerous. One thing I can say though is that his style of riding (technique and flow) and his style of racing (only going as fast as it takes to win) is probably the most sustainable style Ive seen since McGrath. He really doesnt seem to be on the edge very often, riding over his head, or being dangerous. His few sketchy moments he does have seem to be more due to this being his rookie season than anything inherent in how he races. It really looks like when he shakes out the rookie jitters and mistakes that this style of racing can lead him to a long and relatively injury free career for the super high speeds hes going. Time will tell.

Stop embarrassing yourself, you're obviously a knowledgeable poster but when it comes to Deegan and Jett your distaste for them and always trying to chop down their ability and achievements make you look like a complete fool.
You are literally trying to denounce literal great riders of this sport one is probably in that class already, both of them are going no where and are going to win a lot, save the grey hairs and accept it because you're fighting a battle you cannot "win".
You don't win when Webb and Tomac win, they win. grow up.

I can't bring myself to hate any of them I ride I know how gnarly it is out there, I dislike some but it's probably like 2 riders lol.
Webb is one of my favorite riders because he gets the most out of himself despite falling short of ability like the top tier guys, the 450 championships he won he wasn't the best guy but he was the best racer no doubt, I'm pretty impressed to see this late in his career he's riding a lot better than he ever has even in those championship years.
I just can't believe the delusional from some people on here, Webb himself has said multiple times only multiple media platforms he hasn't got the speed to go with Jett, he said last year on KTM he was bummed because he was riding his best he's ridden on KTM and still can't hang with Tomac and Chase.
It's a double standard.
