This is the sort of thing that leads to tracks being more "stadium" style, in my opinion. That's not a good thing. That's what Supercross is for.
I think the Nationals should be going the other way, back to more natural terrain, not towards more of a man-made, stadium-style layout for the comfort of spectators or the ease of filming.
I think the sport misses out when things like this disappear......

The best racing I ever did was sat nights under the lights at motorcycle raceways at 59th and douglas in OKC. stayed cool the track was better just more fun.
