You telling me those bikes are sat there ready to ride??
CDIs present and plugged in?
I know missing CDIs won’t stop them from being taken, but it at least means the thieves have a slower getaway and a hefty cost before they can ride them.
Langston got hit Twice, (((insurance scams))) bikes were junk , they should have taken the helmets worth more💰
This has been going on for over a decade. I can't remember anybody ever being caught. The formula they have is working.
Air tags?? 100 bucks goes a long way to track those gentlemen 🤓

People are literally blocking main bridges and airport terminal roads, coming from south and north illegally, and looting across America, and there are no consequences. People need to realize where we are as a society.
They used to get caught...they NEVER get prosecuted.
Now the cops have lost interest in finding them because they know it won't result in any type of punishment. Too many DA offices have agendas more akin to social engineering rather than enforcement of laws.
Asheville is even much worse than Charlotte these days too. I am in Hendersonville. Last summer the Yamaha/Husky dealer got smash and grabbed the same way. Busted down the front glass and took 7 bikes. No recovery of any , as far as i know.
This 100% sucks!
I have been to the shop several times and it is kind of off the beaten path with only 1 way in and 1 way out and only a couple minutes off 85 for the getaway.
It looked like roughly 7 or 8 guys in the video and they knew what they were doing so they were professional thieves not amateurs . With that many people there had to be several getaway vehicles and one with a large trailer.
my guess would be that the bikes were sold to someone that will be partying them out. I have seen this kind of operation going on in the north east before and eventually they were caught with a warehouse full of bikes
Y'all can blame it on all of the current hot button talking points you have been fed by people that are trying to scare you, but the simple fact is if you own an expensive toy you are a target for theft. Big city or small town, red state or blue state, 1980's or 2020's, it doesn't matter. I had my entire racing program (trailer, bike, tools, gear bag) stolen out of my garage in 1989 and got hit again in 2003. Both were in small town Texas where we have guns and castle doctrines and FAFO and laws and police and DA's that prosecute and punishments and executions every 10 minutes. Munn Racing was recently smash 'n grabbed in Waco, TX. It doesn't matter, thieves are going to thieve protect your stuff and insure what you can't afford to replace. And also fuck thieves.
Yup looked like 6 guys in white hoodies and boss man in black hoodie fn creeps. They knew exactly what they were doing and how long did it take? I didn't pay attention but way fast...one of the white hoodies won't get his cut and will squeal!
Would have been so epic to see a pack of pit bulls or Rottweilers dish out some poetic justice….
Thinking about this…. Hopefully the shop owners have a connection with local PD so maybe someone takes an interest in finding who did this. I think setting up another shop within 50-100 miles as a decoy, for another break in would be best way to potentially catch this operation….
A dog’s gotta eat!
Nothing is going to change until a few of these scumbags are made an example of....
Perhaps they need an introduction to Colt 45? And not the one who rides a Beta.
Is there a list of bikes stolen?
So we can keep an eye out
Looking around the area, Honda of Shelby is next
Dealership, shops whatever getting hit is nothing new. It’s been going on for as long as there have been two wheels.
I was at a dealership a while back. I know the owner. He was opening his side doors. I noticed this heavy ass piece of angle iron that went across both double doors with huge locks on the inside. I said have you been broken into before. He said all bike shops get broke into and yes I have. He said most people don’t realize how often motorcycle dealers get hit. Once they get in it’s pretty easy to steal a motorcycle. They just roll them into a trailer and gone.
Pit Row
I had heard the motors in his championship bikes were dead motors too.
more like throw them in like with no tie downs
I was thinking something more public....
The sad part of theft, some states, towns or cities whatever don’t take theft as a high priority. It’s like when my truck was stolen years back. Officer told me. About the only thing we can do is look around when we are on patrol. He said stolen cars and trucks are parked inside apartment complexes because they are out of site. We constantly patrol apartments but storage buildings, warehouses and barns etc is something we can’t see. To many places to hide. He said like your truck. You didn’t know it was gone until you walked outside and looked in your driveway.
Even with cameras, seldom get a license plate or a good description. Not high enough resolution, mine aren’t.
We are pretty lucky here in Texas. If they know where stolen property is in most cases they move on it. Maybe not so inner city Houston Dallas or Austin. But in the burbs they do pretty good for the most part.
Think again.
Family member friend had her car broken into over Christmas, computer in truck along with other stuff stolen. Long story short, they tracked the computer to a druggie camp and specific trailer. Police were called, they would not come out right away. Once they did come out, they would not enter the trailer where the computer was tracked.
This is not a slam on L.E.....I have a number of friends across various L.E. fields. Their hands are tied these days.
Thats what im saying... a majority of people who have display bikes up there are no fluids, no crank/piston/cams, a rod for a rear shock etc.... just a frame, cases and wheels. So I wonder if these guys actually got away with running bikes.
They don’t even know how to take a bike off the stand. Sure people this stupid will do something stupid and get caught
Last year…someone’s truck got sniped. ‘Twas air-tagged. They went and “collected” it themselves. 😂
Damn straight. If LE won't do it, you gotta do it yourself. And if LE has an issue with that, then they are the problem, not the solution. And I support LE, yet sometimes, they are the problem (I stress "sometimes"). For clarity, I'm not suggesting taking another person's life in the process of getting your stuff back unless it is clearly self-defense, but handling the situation accordingly if the LE won't do it. Air tags are worth every penny.
....and you know how that goes here in the P.R.O.K......
I don’t understand the whole air tag thing. I mean your phone is going to tell you that you are being tracked by an air tag. It’s kinda obvious, unless you don’t have an I phone.
must live in california
