Anyone have a good moto poster?

I have some more at my moms and I have more here at my dads that aren’t signed. I’m a newer fan to the sport, but I like to watch highlights of older races like with Chad, James and Ricky. I was very young, maybe not even born when chad, james and ricky were going at it.

It’s just crazy to see a few guys in each time period of history that just won’t quit no matter what like James or Travis would completely knock themselves out, can’t even walk to their bike, but still get back on and finish the race just because that’s how they live.  People were critical of Smith going bowling for riders but that kind of thing happened to others who were panicking even worse to get up and got completely hit or rammed into someone.  It scares you to watch sometimes but it also shows the human potential that man and machine can go off a blind face of a jump and just trust their fitness and guts that there is greatness to come out of it and get the biggest high of their life in the process taking the leap of faith.

Plessinger jumping into your living room.

Deegan all geared up to take the corner into stardom.

That’s quite the fortress!  Not sure if I can say the fortress of solitude with all those hottie women around…but maybe “the fortress of dude-i-tude”

Xtreme had a t-shirt in the 90’s “big doubles” with a bike flying over a women’s chest pretty humorously and as long as she had some sort of bikini top with rut strings on there was enough tarp to not get kicked out of class.

Call me old school but what can you do with 3 screens?  You’re blocking your view of your race team cheerleaders (which I suggest they start doing in bikinis instead of monster girls just who are just posing around in rubber superweirdo gear).

I agree with all of what you said, not sure what you were getting at with the AP and Deegs part but yes I agree with you. When haiden won arlington, sure I was excited for him but I had that weird feeling from forkner crashing. I am glad I discovered this sport.

Never seen this before. Ive been studying it for 10 minutes now. What the hell is going on here?

No gas tank, no seat, right side chain, probably left side kickstart, weird looking cylinder. I assume that its a Maico because of the color and the oddity. I will never understand the people who built those bikes. Everything about them was weird.

Also have some of the old Pace MC posters.

Had that on my wall, and watched that race trackside where that was taken.

Found these two keepers over the years.

Classic Fox ad poster size:

Poster001 1

Bailey from the 82 Motocross of Nations.  Grabbed this image from the web, but the poster is really big on thick stock of this image or a similar one taken at the same place.  Found it in the early 80s and have never seen another.

My comments about AP and Deegs were trying to explain the images in a fun way.  Forkner’s crashes always seem hard to watch the way he has bad luck and I don’t know how anyone could make any negative comments about him cause he’s a nice kid too.  Thankfully he seat bounces back.  How did you discover the sport or think to go back and watch old videos?  I admit i am even a bit bias and lazy to watch sone old footage feeling like it might be outdated if I don’t recognize the riders fresh off the press from my generation.

Poster lovers i wonder how an image like this would come out it you had it made into a process called “canvas” that brings out vibrant colors and turns it into a wall painting form.

I like what you did there. I got into the sport because of the deegans. Brian took the pastor of my church on a can am ride in 2021, then i discovered their channel and I am so glad I did. After that I discovered Christian Craig's channel, then the Reed's channel(Ive been watching there's when the wsx stuff happened). First race i went to with my mom and her boyfriend at foc raceway 2 when it came down to the last moto to win the championship. After that, i went to a1 2023 with my dad, then fox raceway again(me and my dad were in the background of the deegan's video towards the end when brian was recapping the race(I had my sweatshirt on the fence to rest my arms)). After that I went to LA SMX, cried when Haiden won, this year we went to A1. I want to go to fox raceway again and take the grandparents to Vegas smx. I met kawi's 450 engine guy thanksgiving 2022. Mom lost interest in the sport, her boyfriend is still a fan.

Also have some of the old Pace MC posters.

These are gems worth the money.

People have commented how RC had the relaxed clutch hand grip in photo #1.

Sequential photos are rare.

No one should miss out on the scrub idea or how impossible it looks.

A rare rear view shot showing the height and angle.  Also cool the dust left over from takeoff.

If a rider can look at you in the air sign him a contract.  RIP James Marshall.

Carmichael had something for MC and this image lets you know he’s got his attention.

Lackey was so big bd didn’t need pads.

The hills are as wide as the smiles.

Bailey was fit and the bike didn’t need much extra stuff either slimmed down.  Check out his handful of throttle.

Let that be a lesson to the kids to easily get a picture framed you can dry mount it like I did to the first poster on the list Baggett but it leaves it vulnerable to dents and marks if you put it up as is without a frame.  The Henry scar may be actual size with that size poster to compare to yours and mine.

I guess most of the dudes on here are older because they (including me) just thought of the Deegans as TV “prostitutes” instead of people who could welcome others into their world and the sport.  I became a fan having footage too but mine was MX videos (sone with papa Deegan) that showed them off the track and riding fir fun or doing things bikes and people weren’t supposed to based on the laws of science or reason or them just having fun like Terrafirma 2-…you got an advantage over me getting to see A1 i never made it to so I am pumped for you.  Brian is pretty legit fun to watch seeing him do a cribs episode and I witnessed him laying it on the line with X-games for progression and breaking his femur/insides so he’s put in his laps before becoming a dad and i saw the original race he won and ghosted.  These moto families stay busy.  The church can inspire in so many ways and here you are going to races and being part of something you probably wouldn’t have been otherwise.  Think of this as your choir.

Yes and I wanted Haiden to talk about or include God more in his podium interviews and we got that in Indy. I say that because most people know their background. Crazy to think i’ve been going to my church for over 10 years and never have seen them there. I would go every other week, i do that most the time now too.

No gas tank, no seat, right side chain, probably left side kickstart, weird looking cylinder. I assume that its a Maico because of the color and the oddity. I will never understand the people who built those bikes. Everything about them was weird.

Magoo would have hung it out on anything showing how he had nuts of steel
