This if my favorite poster, it was produced in 1973 by a company called Thought Factory out of Sherman Oaks, CA and features Rocket Rex Staten on a 1972 CZ, absolutely blowing up a berm somewhere out around Riverside Raceway. The poster is fittingly titled "Dust Cloud". The jersey Rex is wearing in this photo is believed to be from a shop called Triumph-Suzuki of Pomona. Through a friend who does estate sales I purchased a very similar jersey, but unfortunately the back of the jersey had a CZ logo, and not Rex's last name and number, although I'd like to think it may have been Rex's jersey at some point?!

How did you get the jersey?  Pretty sweet.

The body and the bike whip is a rare sight cross up they used to do.

Windham had such good freestyle I mixed him up with Metzger in T2

I sold a fellow in Texas  3 giant Carmichael championship dealer banners this year.

I've got the posters from last year's Honda sweep of SX that they gave our dealership

I didn’t know there was a photo version of Ricky’s famous whip.

That jersey could have been worn by Evel.

You can tell there’s a hurricane by how fast his front wheel is spinning.  That’s no goon riding thumbs up on a moped.

Brian McGarvan was jumping off cliffs to get noticed by Emig.  No offense to Thomas but didn’t Eli earn the ET3?

No, I covered the cartoon poster with clear plastic. It made it a little wrinkly.

I only got to ride Saddleback once back in 1980. My brother in law and I drove there from Phoenix for the Carlsbad 500 GP. While we rode Saddleback on Friday before the GP, nobody was there but use. Then a Suzuki van pulls in and parks about 100' from us. We went over and it was Brian Myerscaugh and his mechanic Chris Haines. They brought out the first 250 Full Floater. The bike was still air cooled. Pretty cool day.

Then he went and raced the 250 Support class on the GP weekend and won the overall.

McGrath was a box van guy for a long time.  I like the upright riding style.  What did he use as a bike stand?  Trash cans were epic.  No flags in the rear tire is 1/2 the battle.

I was lucky to get his autograph a few times, but not sure on this one? He was at Ponca city one year signing, but on Yamaha with the number 100. This is the only one I still have.

That’s a keeper.  Reminds me of the Bo Jackson Black and Blue poster I once had on my wall.
