Skid steer on the track during LL Qualifier?

Just watched a video of a LL race this past weekend where they had a Skid Steer on the track during the first lap of the race.   I have heard of stupid things like this before causing the death of a rider.   Mx Sports should remove this track from ever holding an event again in my opinion as this is no laughing matter.  Everyone is lucky it did not cause injuries.  I Have Never Seen THIS During a Race!! That was insanely sketchy...

Shit happens, everyone makes mistakes, but that could have been fucking catastrophic.

That's the worst nightmare for a track owner. Unlimited liability.

Jeez, calm down. Mistakes are made. Do you not see the 30 second gal on the track the other day? Webb almost ran her over....

Years back I jumped into a water truck, that was crossing the track, on the backside of a blind jump. Nothing happened to the track.  My bills weren’t even paid.

If, hypothetically, you raced, would you rather t-bone a 30 second girl or a skid steer?

No surprised, heck they had a sxs on the supercross track a couple weeks back during the race. Never mind the four wheeler Robbie Reynard ran into at one of DCs races. Dude couldn’t buy himself any good luck

Pretty sure that's her driving the skid steer.

Before, during or after the race?

Shit happens in all kinds of racing.  Dale Earnhardt Jr. hit a water truck, firetruck, some kinda truck in NASCAR practice once.

Dude, your take is unacceptable.  A foreign vehicle, person, animal, frick even a shovel has no place on an active racetrack, period. Riding is dangerous enough as it is, racers shouldn’t have to worry about something being on the track that shouldn’t be there.

Haha Mav coming in hot, legend 😂

Side note, Matty B is still the absolute master of catching all this carnage on camera, I don't know how he does it... If it was racing on tarmac I'd swear he was carrying a bag of marbles or banana skins around with him but I have no explanation for moto

This track has some serious explaining to do, and I agree, they should lose their LLQ. I don't think they should lose it forever, but if you're going to tout LL's as the biggest amateur national, your qualifiers shouldn't be run by clowns.

Did Feld loose SX for a MonsterGirl being on the track? Or the mule the week before? Who was at fault? The operator? The person who they where taking direction from? Maybe it was the person directing that person?

Agree with your point.

Side note, LL is the ONLY AMA Amateur National. The other big AMA Amateur races have no where on the advertising or awards the word National. A lot of people call them Nationals, but they simply aren't.

They are either AMA Major events or AMA Featured events. The don't crown AMA National Champions at Mini O's, Freestone, Spring A Ding, Daytona etc. Just sayin'...

I agree, it's perfectly acceptable for a track worker to drive a skid steer across a hot track because a Monster girl got loose at supercross a few weeks back.

Can you explain what the Monster girl at a supercross has to do with the skid steer on the track at the qualifier? If not using one to forgive the other, what was your point bringing her up? Whataboutism?

Folks are calling for the tracks head. Nobody was calling for Felds head. Pretty simple but you can't see it.

What does Feld have to do with the skid steer on the track at the qualifier? They are two completely unrelated events, involving different people, different circumstances and different potential consequences.

I was speaking to the call of the vitards for the track to sanctioned by the AMA for allowing a hazard on the live track. Seems like the same infraction to me.

I totally get what you mean, kind of the same mistake in both instances, however unrelated these instances are.

Additionally both instances luckily didn't end in real trouble.

There were multiple threads on the Monster girl who 'got loose' (great wording) by people here and tonnes of replies etc on social media (I hear), so I think people did react similarly to that 👍

You just proved my point! 10 pages and not a single call for the AMA to take SX away from Feld.

As a racer it should piss you off and make your skin crawl seeing heavy equipment enter a hot track with a pack of riders bearing down. If your kid broadsided the skid steer would your first thought be oh well, it's understandable because there was that one time at a pro supercross race when a 30 second board girl got lost and walked across the track? If not, why is that your first thought in this thread?

How do you know the track was not cold and went hot without it being clear?

Why are you trying so hard to make it look like I think this was acceptable? I know you are always trying to twist what I say to make me look stupid/bad but you are jumping the shark on this one.
