So! he's Dominating the MXGP's, does Gas Gas give him the go ahead in 2025 to race in the US or does he have a contract with Gas Gas to continue racing the FIM MXGP's. Sure would like to see him come over here and I bet Gas Gas is considering him racing AMA SX and MX full time. Can you imagine the hype of him and Jett Lining up at the same gate.

The guy is deffo living under a rock. He also started a topic about Jett Lawrence; if he would do MXGP, once done in the US. Created a pool where he asked if Jett would be a threat or if it would "take him couple years to learn the tracks and his competition" (not knowing that he spent years in Europe before the US, racing most of the tracks and competition - hahaha)

All this bitching and complaining, but not one link to where it says he's officially going to Kawasaki, just rumors. Did Jorge Prado say he refuses to re-sign with Gas Gas, because I'd think they'd try to keep him at all costs and moving to a different team might not be the best move for him. Like they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it and right now he's well on his way to another MXGP Championship. I know he said he wants to race Supercross, but hadn't heard for sure if it's with Gas Gas , but I hope he stays with them. From the Poll, 50% right now say's it looks like he's staying with Gas Gas, so nobody really knows yet.

At what point in the sport's history have we ever officially heard a rider signed with a new team in March? Of course it's rumors at this point, but so was Sexton to KTM and Webb to Star...
That's why I'm asking everybody's opinion. There's been a lot of complaining and bitching on how awful this years Supercross season has been and excuses as to why Jett Lawrence has been having the success he's having. I like seeing the best compete against the best and I think it would create a huge amount of excitement if Jorge Prado does stay with Gas Gas and races both series in the US. The only thing better would to have Jeffrey Herlings say he needs a change and also come over to race the AMA Nationals also.
There is a thread sometime last week. Apparently the Prado to Monster Kawi for sx and mx starting next year is a done deal. Can’t remember how long but either 2 or 3 yr contract I think

I must have missed that thread and it's all speculation, Ducati is a pretty big motorcycle company, they might go full send to try and get Jorge Prado to sign with them and race in the US next year. That! would be super interesting.
Can’t race sx on a Ducati next year so that won’t be an option.
Why not, people are speculating he's going to Kawasaki, why not Ducati. Triumph is racing it.

Why not ? Because Ducati isn't racing in the US untill 2026, Ducati has already stated so publicly.
You are grasping at straws trying to defend you missed the kawi-deal.
At this point, based on history and unless something comes up that makes the contract obviously signed a void, it's a done deal.
I definitely find myself pulling for him more in MXGP this year after his SX adventure. Made me a fan.

You're using your own poll as evidence of your argument?...The rumor came from DV and I would consider him a good source...

The point is....if all these people are talking about it, it probably is etched in stone. Meaning the contract has been signed but it won't be talked about until his GasGas contract expires. Typically so many media folks and insiders aren't talking about and agreeing about something unless it's a done deal.
BUT I suppose you are right too, until we see the Press Release anything can happen.
