fantastic
“Arms as hard as morning wood right now” 😂😂😂
Just to clarify, we all know Webb has great race craft. IMO, I give him a perfect 10 on managing that race. He wasn't the fastest but he MADE that win happen by his superb split second decision making. For example, he pinned it towards the wall when Jett was coming up the inside which was brilliant. Did anyone notice how hard he drove the bike into the wall after Jett hit his rear end? I can't wait to go back and watch it again.

best racecraft in the league right now
Yup! that was some good stuff, I've never been a huge fan of Cooper Webb, but after last night he's definitely in my Cool book now. Going to root for him in St Louis, because I want this points battle to tighten up. Let's see what a desperate Jett with a sense of urgency is capable of doing.
Webb has had the best race craft in the sport for some time.
Not sure why Jett would be desperate with a 16 point lead going into round 12.
big fax , call me crazy but I think it’s come from him racing AC all those yrs in AM’s , coming thru the pack majority of the time u learn things on how to race & pass ppl and make them passes stick
Webb has always been like a shark in bloody water during the last 1 or 2 laps.
I think he's the GOAT when it comes to Racecraft. I'm 40 so my memory only goes back to the late 90's but I cannot think of another rider that I have been more impressed with.
After watching the replay for the 2nd time.... Webb was 9th after the 1st turn. He passed Wonder boy, they came together in one turn and were side by side in the whoops then something else happened after that....but of course the camera pulled away @2:02:15ish. Next shot, Wonder boy had been pushed further back. Anyone know what happened here?
Impressive to see Coop move thru the pack like that.
It’s pretty sad that praising a rider who wins one of the gnarliest races of the year gets as many thumbs down as thumbs up. It not only makes me hate the thumbs down feature but also makes me wonder what is wrong with people. I’m not really a Webb fan but if you can’t respect that ride he put in, something’s wrong.
Webb has always been a bulldog when chasing from behind, but I've gained new respect watching him manage the race with arm pump and not backing down.
Webb is the most dangerous kind of competitor . Stubborn as hell .
The way coop literally rubbed the tough block he went so far inside in the last corner shows how aware he is of his surroundings and what he needs to do at what point in the race to seal the win. If I was chase I would have hit the tough block to try to go even further inside, but damn coop shut the door. Guys a 2x champ for a reason. The craziest stat was that he hadnt even lead 5 total laps while getting 2 wins prior to last weekend. Dude just gets it done at the only part that counts… the end.
I honestly think Chase had a better shot if he had of railed the outside on that last corner. Cooper was hugging the inside so no room, plus he was almost at a stand still to get it turned.
But good on both for giving it everything for the win.
That stat was crazy but made possible by one of his wins coming at a triple crown which he won on averages and outlasted the other guys who won races that night and had other horrible finishes knocking their averages down.
Pit Row
"it's not about the rider, it's about the riders fans" as someone in here often state..
Never got to posting it earlier, so maybe a little defunct now, but during the race I consciously recognised and still believe that Coop didn't actually want to pass Chase any earlier. Plenty of opportunity to, but was more than happy to purposely sit back and wait until the last second, until of course Chase stalled it.
Webb is stubbornly determined and seemingly super skilled at working out tracks when they’re in the worst condition.
However why is everyone here praising his race craft? I’ve seen him win two overalls this season because of Jett making stupid/ rookie mistakes. Then last weekend he wins again because of Sexton’s mistake and yet another Jett blunder.
Are you saying Webb’s race craft is superior because he didn’t make the significant mistakes that Sexton and Jett did? Or is it something else? Don’t just downvote, please enlighten me, because I don’t see it the same way as you guys.
P.S. Only talking about this season not previous years.
For some reason he has the ability to be at the right place at the right time to capitalize on others mistakes, you might even say he has the ability to push the rider in front of him into those mistakes (but its usually them on their own). He reads the track well and makes adjustments at the perfect time. He sucks in the whoops until they become jumpers, and then he usually excels. He can turn down lower in corners as the ruts get deeper and seems to be able to find clean lines.
Just some of the things I have noticed
Webb definitely has an uncanny ability to be in the right place at the right time regularly, and there’s no doubting his track reading skills, but I’m not seeing the inside running advantage so much, at least not as much as he had a few years back.
His shit-eating grin "is the best in the business".
Nope. It’s about their country of origin…. Small minds and small…..
