He’s their trainer but is racing a KTM. That’s where the confusion came from. Still with Triumph.
He's a trainer. All they said on pulp is that he isn't riding triumphs or actually part of the team on the bike side of things. He just trains the guys
Till the dealers start getting them?
Weird that Doc Wob and co built him that YZ with Triumph style graphics and white/black plastics for VMXdN because he was contracted to ride Triumphs/stuff that looks like a Triumph... Now this.

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
He’s not contracted to ride a triumph. He rides for munn racing out of Texas. I wouldn’t expect to see him on a wobb bike at vmxdn
What was Brown,s 1 st yr pro number ? I,ll give ya 5 minutes.
483
August 89 mxa did a 6 page write up on the Muddy Creek Tn. Shoot out
Yup let him race the vet classes at amatuer nationals
He’s training Swoll/Ferry. He’s employed by race team. Eventually he will (most likely) race a Triumph but he’s currently racing KTMs. Nothing to see here, folks. Everyone can resume normal scheduled programming. 😂
Well, that answers that then
This. He told me at mini o’s that when the 450 comes out he will start riding/racing it.
I agree. Anybody 50+ still putting his soul into moto can race the age classes at the nationals with those classes.
If my memory serves me- first seeing him run up front was at Gainsville 1991 CR125 #483..
Could be in 89 he was 411 who knows maybe he just chose his # like you & I. Jim Chester 811 remember him from AX ? Todd Neal 21, Kenny kizzar 157, Chad Lough 49.
Mike at 16 yrs old. Remember the 89 KX125 only had 1 radiator. I imagine the thing ran pretty hot.
Yeah man good call, I saw that at Loretta's (for a while) and at VMXdN in the UK he had the Munn logo under the FXR logo on his jersey 👍
I worded that badly, was just repeating what they said was the reason for the Triumph-looking YZ VMXdN bike on the Doc Wob channel. From that, I guess the move to riding Triumphs will be coming once they're available / whatever current contract runs it's course or they start selling them themselves?
411 was his amateur #. His rookie pro number was 483.
