Kenny had a great weekend looked very good and actually gave Jett a battle. I didn’t think KR would be the first one to actually keep pace and race Jett straight up. He’s not always pushing 100% but when he is he still looks great. I hope KR94 still has some left in the tank for remaining rounds
I mean he already was the only one to battle Jett last year during outdoors and SMX. He was probably also the fastest guy after Jett during the first 3-4 rounds this year but always had some weird stuff happening to him during the first corner or lap, he would be right there in the points right now (probably 2nd or 3rd).
As a long time Kenny fan.. The thing that I'm most excited about currently is that he still charges when he gets passed and he battles towards the end. That was the most frustrating thing during his last years on the Honda. A lot of people were saying that he was making excuses and just "didn't have it anymore" but he clearly shows that he can still ride on that level. Hopefully we see him win another race this season and maybe race selected outdoor rounds, that would be sweet!
I'm pretty amazed at the pace Kenny is able to run after making his comeback from his destroyed arm, being sick for a couple seasons, changing teams to an old bike with a kickstart, and being almost 30yrs old. I sure hope Suzuki comes out with an updated bike and e-start for him soon. Pretty amazing he set the fastest lap time on the outdated yellow behemoth:
Kenny is a bad mofo! I don't know if anyone has ever had his early laps speed. I love that he has carved out his own plan for his racing at this point. He seems pretty darn content.
He sure does throw down on the first lap. Anywhere in the top 5 in the first turn, and he's likely to be leading within 4 corners.

Remember the size of his little arm after all the surgeries? Crazy to think he can come back to the top level from this, but AC isn't able to sort out his issues with his arm.
Nerve damages is a bitch. Sometimes its a simple fix sometimes its simple but fucked. Keeny got lucky on one hand and in another way AC got lucky but unlucky.
Don’t underestimate Kenny’s dad strength!
"Kenny will never win another or Kenny is done"...... said clowns in the past.
Just like Tomac.
He looked awesome on that "outdated dinosaur" Saturday night.
Synonymous with "Jett won't lose again"...
It's very cool to see Kenny like this. I love it.
...on the other hand, what does it tell about 'dirt bikes' not exactly the pinnacle of motor racing technology. You can take a bike that hasn't been loved by the factory for years and years, do some modifications and you are beating those throwing large sums on the bikes.
Now, this is cool also, just shows, you don't have to have the most modern bike, you just need a good rider and a team that can setup the bike for you.
...oh how jealous Lewis Hamilton must be of Kenny... poor Lewis has no chance against the Red Bull Honda.
I wish Suzuki would look at this and re-energize their racing department but most likely Kenny is not doing them any favours, it's a product that will slowly die. When it hasn't been updated for 15years Kenny will most likely not be on the box any longer, then again, he is also 15years older
Only so much trickery you can do to a $50,000 bike vs a 15 million dollar car. Sure miss the true works bikes and their development. Those F1 cars are unbelievable!
he's a bad bad man
so happy for him, what a story of determination
I was so wrong about him, I thought his career was doomed when he went to Suzuki. I am so happy I was wrong. Seeing him ride so well is such a pleasure!
I felt like he moved over for jett all night though. Otherwise awesome.
This reminds me of my Dad letting me learn my lessons. Classic!

this is the best version we have seen of Kenny in a long time... But does anyone else think it also seems like he has a chip on his shoulder from Jett? Which i think is a good thing.. we havnt seen a fired up Kenny with confidence in years,
Yep, nerve issue is a whole different thing. I’ve had to stop racing now as well due to nerve damage in my shoulder. Without warning it randomly looses all strength and the pain can only be described as taking your breath away leaving me with a feeling of I’m going to be sick. Lasts a few minutes then goes, but remains slightly weaker for a few hours. Dr don’t know why it’s happening.
Pit Row
Because they’re the same thing. 🤦🏼🤦🏼🤦🏼🤦🏼🤦🏼 What an idiotic post.
What's more of an idiotic post is claiming I said it was the same thing when I didn't. Kenny's injury appeared to be career ending and had to do some nerve damage as well. But I never said it was the same injury.
That 3rd race he showed great fight imo. 2nd was good too. 1st one I think he got caught out using a slower line. He switched his line next race.
Ok
I think he put up a fantastic effort against the new guy, and saved the show! I can only hope more try as hard to stop what's coming.
All this on a bike that people said wasn't competitive.
Even Bogle..
Bogle is not competitive. That's all you need to know lol.
You'd think he'd know better, being a professional.
Yes, 100%.
I was talking to my partner about this during the race, now this is speculation here, I believe Roczen believes he's the most talented rider racing in America all this time that, well on a technique perspective he has been and is, I believe Jett is the first rider Roczen feels like may be better than him, it lit a fire up his ass hence his focus.
Pair that with giving his body a rest, changing his diet, seems way better mentality and you got a very good Roczen.
The only bike Bogle has even been remotely competitive on lately was a Suzuki.
Is Kenny racing Outdoors?
Nope, may race a round or 2
