That was crazy to see. Glad she is okay. That had to be a big distraction to Webb.

There's a 6 pager in the Dumbgeon. I'm guessing because it devolved into a thread discussing the occupations of Monster girls during the week

It could of been. She got lucky.

Here's one, if Coop hits her and goes down, is the race restarted ? I'd like to see how the AMA would handle that one lol

Weege's deep dramatic, "Oh no.... OH NO!" had me rolling.  Glad she's okay.

Well, you'd think, but no way to know.

If Cooper hits her and puts her down and he goes down, then you have possibly 2 people with injury and a bike that may be damaged, then I would think the race is re-started after things get squared away.

I want to know how the hell that it even happened? How did she end up back on the racing surface?

Steve, Pulp was interviewing Justin Cooper in the post race interviews and mentioned they only let more experienced Girls handle the 30 second board duties. Crazy how that happened.

It’s an interesting scenario..

what if Coop’s bike is damaged?
what if it’s damaged and not noticed before the race is restarted?

what if Coop has an injury?

dread to think if the issue that could arise.

She shouldn't be around any motorsport event. That was inexcusable. Clearly zero situational awareness.

I will ask this here. Red flag or no red flag, should they have thrown it?

I think you mean the organization who was responsible for this professional event shouldn't be around any motorsport event.

OP, the original thread had people who have never been within 10 feet of an attractive woman acting like they are sub-human.

You know, to be fair and honest about all this…HOW DID SHE END UP BEING ALLOWED TO BE ON THE COURSE? Isn’t there someone in-charge of those women and selects who has what responsibilities or duties…are they given any thorough instructions? (A: Yes, someone is in charge of them and NO they don’t get much instruction or have an escort…& we both know this). Why wasn’t she ESCORTED AWAY FROM THE COURSE?

I saw her interview at the end of the night…she was left out there waaaay to long…allowed to be out there way too long…wasn’t instructed correctly…that’s what was apparent to me. Someone from ”race control” (AMA, Feld or whoever is so inclined to have been assigned with SAFETY ON THE RACE COURSE) should be out there with her, PERIOD.

I’m jus’ sayin’…

Absolutely there should have been a red flag thrown.  She got in the way of the riders and fell on the ground.  The gate had just dropped.  Red flag, line them up, and drop the gate again.

Don't tell me that as a racer that wasn't in Webb's head for a bit as to whether they were going to red flag it and WTF had just happened.

If we had enough good eyes on the race course…and enough safety comm’s in place…a red flag would have been thrown AS SOON AS SHE WAS SEEN ON THE RACE COURSE.

I’m sure I’m gonna attract some angst and shit for this…but, it’s true.

No, that's not what I said.

They've had Monster girls doing the 30 second board for 10-plus years. I can't think of another incident involving them.

Normally, they huddle in one of the structures near the finish line while the race is going on. Pretty much everyone on the floor knows you don't cross a hot race track.

From my point of view, it looked like she'd made it off the track, collected all the boards, was thinking her job was done, and was ready to head for the hotel.

There in lies the problem. "Normally...", "pretty much everyone on the floor...", "thinking her job was done".  When you are putting on a professional event, you don't (shouldn't) make assumptions with people on or around the racing course.
