I got at least one good thing out of it, I had no idea they had a motorcycle museum there.  I wonder if it will make fans want to see it online or in person.

How can you put a schock on schock?  Who is in charge of suspensions?

I want to go to bed with a clear conscience unlike a few of the racers who should spend some time in guilt or penalty.  Growing pains as a racer should involve some pain if they cross the line or injure other riders.

What do you accomplish by walking over to another pit, there’s already a dude in a wheelchair and Seth hasn’t picked a fight with anyone his whole career.  Funny how Deegan kept his helmet on as a coward.  Sad to say but Deegan is not looking so good of a rider on or off the track cutting the track, punting another innocent rider off, and maybe ending Forkner’s career putting a take-out move on him and then saying how he’s going back for the kill.  I do realize he is under a lot of pressure and it may not even be him that is instigating this but “Danger Boy” should be in danger of some kind of suspension.

Unfortunately he’s not much of an example to other riders i thought were clean like Webb who went in for the kill on Jett and then thanked the lord after the race.

would like him to do that to someone like FIithy Phil,

Vialle could be the one to challenge Jett in two years...said 'could be'.

Eli was super fast tonight but this track was not going to work for him coming from a 15th-place start. Hope he is not depressed. Did we already forget he won the heat beating Webb/Jett? It was startcross tonight.

And how many times have we seen Eli lose his rhythm when he gets stuck behind Barcia. Too many. Jett is the man though...this title is his unless he gets hurt.

It was a little odd though how Deegan went up to the PC pits with the TV camera conveniently there with him and then almost no comments made and then he left.  I guess he realized he was gonna lose some of his tv stardom if he did something stupid on the camera that made him famous.  Phil is just philthy funny but doesn’t go around picking fights.

Good point, this whole “level playing field” would be less level in lap times with the usual obstacles.  They cited rider safety but even with a broken down track they weren’t crashing and people argue how this is the highest level.  If whoops are that bad take them out but there are more sketchy sections like the one Forkner got hurt on that was clearly bad all day for even the best and now they blame him for rider error.

I don’t have any blame for Eli not laying it all on the line every lap when he is already 2nd all time in wins and with a family.  It was having kids that pulled Ricky away from racing and even his usual advice to current riders is to not force it too much if you get in a bad place on the track with limited room for passing.

It’s hard at new venues and they did the best they could with a wet track.  I have been waiting for more southern races since that’s where people ride more and they shouldn’t forget about motocross and have chances to see it.  It was raining and still cold plus covid so don’t let crowd size get you down.  A lot of the south is more about pro 4-wheel racing since they have more tracks and frequent races.  We are lucky to even get a Nashville or Charlotte that hasn’t been consistent.  Daytona has been the only constant but with all other stuff going on to help.

It’s a lot of pressure to be any pro especially young and expected to win.  That trip to the pits may not have even been Deegan’s own idea but someone telling him to in order to try and intimidate them like he did to Austin.  Seth is trying to build his confidence but Deegan may be trying to take anyone out above him in points especially if he sees others pulling moves running into others like Webb did on Jett and “the Hymas maneuver” and payback from Swoll.  Ricky as an announcer should not be tolerating any of that whether it results in a crash, injury, or just a love tap.

I would never bet on anyone getting there. It’s just so insurmountable and MC went SX only his final 5 years (from age 26 onward) to preserve his body and ride more SX series. He got probably what at least 30ish more wins from 98-retirement and 3 more championships. But I would definitely say Jett’s odds are higher than anyone since MC. If I had to place my bets on something I’d say upper 50s and 2nd all time on the SX wins list.

Ignoring the dudes who we know only have a year or two left, here’s who he has to deal with. You guys tell me if any of these guys besides Chase are going to challenge him for wins consistently and championships in the next 8 years. And even Chase (in his prime) like I said Jett went 22-0 and he is not challenging Jett this year in SX.

Sexton, H Lawrence, Cooper, Vialle, Deegan, Prado, McAdoo, Kitchen, Hammaker, etc. (anyone I potentially missed feel free to add). There’s just nobody there near his level except Chase. This era we went through was amazing the last ten to fifteen years. Jett was born at the perfect time and has all the tools needed to set major records. It should be fun to watch him climb that mountain.

They have mentioned it but have just signed 2 year contracts. There’s many more looking for that career move in the EMX2 also. Prado opened Pandora’s box with the ease he transitioned into SX with no training or experience, those MX2 riders you mentioned are no joke, especially De Wolf who is a tall lanky sand master with a jaw dropping style. Is it going to turn into a requirement that only native born US riders can compete in a US series?

They smeared the #18 from Jett’s front number plate to protect his identity or maybe he is a superhero flying on a dirt bike instead of a flying douche bag they are calling Deegan for tonight’s antics.

From memory he won every championship that he was not injured, and those injuries were at the start of his 450 career, correct me if I'm wrong of course.

Yes you're wrong he basically only raced 2011 and 2013 mx. You're not threatening any records when he miss outdoors every year

Sorry didn't know we are talking about MX records.

I read somewhere that each Ryan has about 80 wins total which puts them inside the top 5 of all time.  Dungey is already in the hall of fame and some weren’t sure if RV would be able to race again after his crash that broke his tib/fib and the x-rays.

Amazing re-mount by Cam after that one. That could have been ugly.

What is it with McAdoo and fenders…is this  part of the show?  Didn’t he lose a number plate or something last year?  I did’t think those things were easy to break on a loop-out unless you are Ronnie Mac who sawed it off and joked fenders were made by communists and that practicing is for girls.

To be fair that's twice deegan has gone down due to hammaker off the start.

Not defending his behaviour but it has to be said.

People don’t want to think that it is Seth’s fault since he is kind of mellow and Deegan was cutting across the track according to RC to pinch people off where he should have let the inside go first but they were turning and maybe he or some people think the inside can or should check up or slow down if someone cuts across.  There was already one first turn pileup with Hammaker this year but it is usually just a racing accident.  People are more quick to blame Deegan tonight after seeing him cut the track, go to another semi or ram into Fornkner pretty obviously or talk like it was intentional too.  No doubt Deegan has skills and fans still but it’s hard to blame Seth after he’s had bad luck so far and doesn’t advertise himself much for the controversy.  Deegan was a favorite and with some injuries and bad starts this title is more out of reach so he’s got to be frustrated not knowing what to do or under other orders.

That’s like combing the desert in spaceballs, “we ain't found shit”.  Just imagine if that was full southern clay or if people stayed home with it rather cold in the south in early March.  I think things turned out pretty well.  Any news on Ferrandis since not many crashed.

I agree, the Deegan cutting the line was ambitious not reckless, very similar similar friese which RV said himself friese wasn't in the wrong he had the front wheel which is the same situation here.

If you have the front wheel you have the right to hold your line.

Now if you put your eyes Deegans helmet here's how it went down, he does not have rhe luxury of a drone shot like us bench racers, as soon as he saw who it was he went into emotional meltdown.

The kid cannot handle his emotions that's been proven and the way he carried on today is inexcusable.

But the incident was just thay a racing incident.

I can't help but think if this is a product of his YouTube fame, there is a lot of pressure on him because of this whole youtube thing, tonight looked like a mental breakdown maybe they should chill on that social media stuff for a while.
