Decent show this weekend with a few news drops. And no talk about the jacket.
1. Tomac had a leaking valve cover.
2. Hymas tore his same acl either at Detroit or the week b4.
3. They are 99% sure it's AC's last season.
I'm just I missed something else.
And Barcia really dirty he doesnβt have his old bike/settings anymore
I think it sounded like he is getting the kyb set up to test this week.
Would the leaking valve cover cause a loss of power?
No. Not in this case. If he only lost 100mls or so it wouldn't make a difference.
If he lost a significant amount of oil the bike would start to run hot, be at risk of seizure.
But judging by the amount of smoking and knowing how little oil would be needed to create that much smoke I doubt he lost more then 100mls or so.

No loss of power, but that is where the smoke came from.
It pains me to think that this could be ACβs last year. Heβs an incredible talent and a great personality for the sport, but luck hasnβt been on his side. I have the same feelings for Forkner if he decides to hang it up. These guys dedicate their lives to moto, but moto has been pretty cruel to them.
Hate to hear that about AC. When I saw the IG story of him talking about doing a burnout and how he had always wanted to, I wondered if that was his way of βclosing the bookβ on Daytona for himself. He seems like a great human; hopefully the sport is fortunate enough that he decides to stick around.
I wonder if AC is going on the Pulp show tonight to announce something.
The AC comments certainly match up to the vibe from his vital mx post race interview, seemed at peace with everything which is good to hear, but seemed like the end of his racing career is near.
Steve riding Roczens bike
Man I hope AC sticks around a bit longer. Maybe a change of scenery, race for fun no pressure situation etc. Itβs crazy how young he is in the grand scheme of things. However, this is the perspective of a greedy fanβ¦ good on him if he chooses to walk away healthy and focus on something else
It was interesting and informative to hear how hard it is to put a factory transmission into neutral. Something I never thought of.
Idk if moto has been "cruel" to him. Sure, it hasn't gone how he and everyone else would want it to with results and injuries. But, he has earned the $$ and will be able to retire young. Best part is he grew up doing what he loved.
I am praying that AC finds something he loves after racing, whether its replacing ricky in the booth or going full in on his podcast or something else.
I think he could just float around multiple industry roles.
I think mx sports should give him a job. And he can goto big amateur events and talk to the up and coming kids and do the amateur combines. As his advice and knowledge would be valuable to those kids.
Be on race day live.
Do podcasts.
Holy shit these guys are crying themselves to sleep over his career. Fuck. Hes had a great go of it. Get over it bunch of fucking babies. Is there no red blooded males left any more? These guys on here are like teenage girls whos boyfriend dumped them.rant over.
People crying about fantasy picks, and wondering who might have down voted their post. Red blood males? Few and far between.
Damn Bro who pissed in your cereal this morning? Guys were just saying heβs had a pretty tough professional career.
Pit Row
Jett gets in Anderson's face at San deigo and he is a bitch an entitled little punk.
I don't think you can win anyway these days.
Youβre so manly, congrats
Hyperbole aside, I think most guys see AC as a good dude that never lived up to his potential because of injury and bad luck. I do a lot of βManlyβ things but I donβt need to type them out on a keyboard. I also teach my sons that there is a time and place to be βmanlyβ and there is also a time and place to be kind and considerate. You can be a bad ass while doing Both.
PS: itβs a forum man, people have all kinds of opinions
Darrin, you do realize the irony of getting mouthy with me over the internet, right? AC has spent the better half of his life in the hospital due to moto injury. Sorry if showing some empathy towards another human makes me a teenage girl. Fucking primate.
Idk . It wasn't meant for anyone in particular . It's just weird to me that people get sad about stuff like this. He has a national title. He's reasonably wealthy I assume. Prob could get a great job in the industry. Etc etc. Im a 55 year old concrete finisher with no talent. Feel bad for me.
As a fellow concrete finisher.
I do feel bad for you π
AC is killing it on the show tonight. Love hearing his takes.
Ohh the real world ππππ
Where are the idiots that stated Tomac burned his clutch out trying to override to keep up with Jett lol
