I would be getting eye surgery asap if I was him. I don’t really understand why it’s not on the to-do list of every person who wears contacts or glasses. And even more so if you are someone who enjoys sport a lot or an athlete.

They should make goggle lenses where the WHOLE lens is magnified like glass/contacts.

Possibly your comment was sarcasm but these have been around for many years.

Yeah I remember those. But I'm talking about the whole entire lens being prescription. I'm not sure if those are ready for prime time at this level.

I´ve ridden with glasses inside of the goggles and specific glasses embedded on the goggles, none work properly, both move up and down on rough terrain and you get a really bad/blurry weird vision.
What i do think it´s non negotiable for a high performance athlete is not getting Lasik, PRK, SMILE or other corrective surgery, they are tested, fast and quite safe.

So what’s “better”? Jett being emotional for ruining Forkner season and apologizing, or Deegan for dancing on the grave.

subjective, as always

One thing i learned from martial arts as a kid is you never hit your opponent when they're down. Not that anything Haiden said was wrong, but

Did I hear the forkner was unconscious for a long period of time? Like upto 5 mins?

He has a list long list of injuries.

But 1 of the 1st things he remembers and only thing you hear from him is his contact came out in the race? Kinda seems weird to me.

Exactly, you always respect your opponents, even if you don't like them. Why? Because you sweat, bled and teared you effing way there, and be sure as f that they did had to go the mile to get there aswell. It's called empathy and it is the same you'd like from your competition if you ate shit (Dungey Roczen 2017)

I think after this season Forkner should just move up to the 450.  Even if he doesn’t get a full factory ride.  For the average rider a 450 will often get you in more trouble…but for a skilled pro I feel it would help him not to have to keep a 250 wound up like a cheetah on crack.

I don't think he has any business on a SX track these days unless he adds some adderall to the diet. Focus is just not there these days.

Concussions are kinda weird though.

What did focus have to do with it?

Well whats really the difference between a jett lawrence who never gets hurt and a michael mosiman who admits to watching back movies in his head while racing? Sure you can still make a mistake while hyper focused too. We don't really know but when you start to see a pattern or activity it makes you wonder.

I mean a fair amount of luck goes into it too though. Jett has been on the ground a lot this year too and has been lucky so far that none of those crashes have been worse. Forkner up to this year struck me more that he lived by the sword and died by the sword and just didn’t know when to back it down, not really cruising up front and then making unforced errors. Just my $0.02.

I would be getting eye surgery asap if I was him. I don’t really understand why it’s not on the to-do list of every person who wears contacts or glasses. And even more so if you are someone who enjoys sport a lot or an athlete.

He said in his video that his vision is still changing with each yearly eye appointment. Sounds like he’s waiting til that plateaus so he doesn’t just end up with contacts again after the surgery
