Wow, John pumps out my septic tank. That bike he rode in the 80”s was a piece of shit vs the Hondas and Yamahas of the day. Get him and Jojo together and stand back! Btw did I ever tell my Jojo story…..

Will always be Scott Plessinger for me. In the late 80's into the 90's, he was one of the few riders who kept Scott Summers honest. I believe he won two GNCC titles and two National Hare Scramble titles back then on KTM. We had a small KTM dealership in my town in the late 80's and 90's where I spent a lot of time as a kid. My dad bought my first bike there, a 1991 KTM 80. Been hooked ever since!
Langston, eggens, de reuver. Langston put KTM on the map over here in Holland when I was a kid he would dominate the dutch races. Later the champ KTM team was considered the best team and Eggens became really good on that team as well. Same happened to de Reuver. Got really fast but had some bad luck with injuries. He was really fast on ktm’s

Tony! Tony! Tony! 🇮🇹
Cairoli jumped to my mind first , but i thought his most exciting racing for me was on board a yam
Passing/Taking Searle out whilst riding with a buckled front wheel , doing quite a bit of that race on the back wheel and showing no mercy.
Then of course the 2006 mxdn and heel clickers over finish lines...... Legend!

as an 11 year old discovering motocross in the mid 80’s I thought his Ktms looked so cool.
no brock sellards...shamefull

2 steps forward, 1 step back. They are extremely good at fixing known issues and then screwing up something that was solid. Twin chamber forks to 4cs, keihin carb to mikuni, Carb to TPI, awesome frame to rigid frame
This is the only one that matters.
Remember when smets came over in 2001 for the wick? Pretty cool.
Tony Cairoli
