Hi, ive run Maxima 927 castor, Honda HP2, and i currently run Maxima Super M at 32:1, i was wondering what you guys consider the best oil.
Pick an oil. Pick a fuel. Pick a ratio. Stick with it. Jet for it and adjust as necessary for conditions.

The Shop
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
Now pick an oil. Any of the modern Semi-synthetic or full synthetic will suffice. Personally I have run Klotz R-50, Klotz Super Techniplate, Amsoil Dominator, and Amsoil interceptor. I would not hesitate to run Motul 800 or 600, Maxima K2, BelRay H1R, or any of a number of other top quality oils.
Then pick a ratio. You'll hear alot of opinion and hearsay about this part of it. Fact of the matter being that you will be safe with most oils in the 32:1 to 40:1 range. You can go with more or less based on your personal tastes.
Now here is the hardest part. Stick with it. Once you've figured out what you are going to run, keep it the same every time you ride. That will make the next part easier.
Learn how to jet, and test and adjust the jetting every time you ride. If you get this part right, you will be rewarded with a MUCH better performing bike.
But what do I know.

Mix it at the factory recommended ratio for your particular bike. See your service manual.
You can wipe it off the power valves with a rag. All the other oils I have used bake on to the power valves and you have to fully disassemble them and take them to a polisher to clean them. For what its worth.
From that I would follow Moto814's rules.
