What place did Beta finish in the Lites class?
Not the best result but they should be happy, the bike is definitely competitive. They are looking good 👍
I don't get the lack of praise for their first outing. I thought it was VERY impressive. I was expecting one to not qualify and one to be outside the top 15-17. Sure some good riders were taken out but still I'm shocked they did so well.
What is happening right now? They fucking killed it! Swoll was a beast. Came back from a crash in the main to finish well in the top 10. Ferry pulled a holeshot and won the LCQ in his first ever SX race. Clearly the bike can hang. Put Forkner on that thing and see where it finishes. Very impressive. And Beta did make it into the main with Bloss and that is impressive too. We should be thankful these manufacturers want to invest in our sport when everyone seems to suggest we are one year from extinction....

Swoll looked great, he was way more competitive than I thought he would be at the first race.
And Ferry, just making the main I think was their goal. Too bad he only made it to the first turn, but that wasn't his or the bike to blame, just bad luck.
I think Triumph is happy with the results. Yes some bad luck, but overall the bikes were looking good and the riders had to leave the night feeling more confident.
I predict three podiums this year.
I remember seeing a lot of sarcasm and sceptism when they announced they were building an mx bike, and I commented at the time that John Bloor doesn't mess around and they would be doing it methodically and properly. Nice to see all their hard work is now paying off.
A podium in Europe and top 6th in Supercross after the rider was dumped at the first turn, on the weekend they make their race debut, with all the bikes running like clockwork is a hell of an achievement. I predict they're going to open a few eyes in the bike tests too when they start getting ridden, as the base for the production bike looks very good.
They crushed it .
Agreed - very impressive!
I was distraught to see Ferry piled up against the wall and his bike. Didn't look like he was comfortable in that position.
Haha yep I would have packed it up for the day and had a beer, but then again I’m not a teenager and I don’t get paid to ride 🤣
