You've already covered some excellent ones, like McGrath's "Wide Open" and Eric Gorr's "Motocross and Off-road Performance Handbook."
If you're looking for more, here are a couple of recommendations. Check out "The Modern Motorcycle" by Cycle World. It's a comprehensive guide to modern bikes and their technology. And if you're into some real racing history, "Motocross Giants" by Bill Amick is a fantastic read about the legends of the sport.
And hey, while you're on the road to recovery, why not revisit the magical world of Harry Potter? I recently found all the Harry Potter books in order on bookwormera.com, and re-reading them has been a blast.

Can’t think of the title at the moment but the story of the guy that came up with the full floater design is decent. If you want to pay postage I will send it to you if I can find where I put it after reading!

It’s a good book.

After reading about the legal proceedings, all I can think is, I’ll never own a Suzuki.

Thank you.

I have just got this book, and to be honest not found it that good.

Too much of the guy saying how smart he is

Too much of the guy saying how dumb everyone else is .

In life , when I meet these sort of people, I don't believe everything they say.

I would like to hear the  Suzuki  side of the story.

Agree the guy sounds very conceited, most likely embellished some, doubt I would enjoy hanging out with him. Saying that he won the lawsuit so I’m assuming Suzukis side would end up being similar to his with a little spin to make them look good

Well, they lost the patent case.

Great suggestions, I'll third Monkey Butt, I've read it multiple times.

If you can search and find Wally Klammer - Dirt Bike Chronicles - That's a great read, he has another 3 or 4 books out that all have motorcycles involved and are great.

Home by Sevon is really good too and if you are into adventure at all, you'll love following her story. I met her when she came through our area. Home By Seven: One woman's solo journey to ride all seven continents on two wheels: Jeavons, Steph, Jeavons, Steph: 9781838123901: Books - Amazon.ca

Malcolm! Is great too.

I've got a cool collection of motorcycle books, magazines ect, I'll look on the shelf and see if something pops up that hasn't been mentioned and is worthwhile.

Also any of the Suzuki diehards, you have to check out this one. I read it cover to cover quick, it was a great history lesson. Suzuki Motorcycles - The Classic Two-stroke Era: 1955 to 1978: Long, Brian: 9781787112124: Amazon.com: Books

The Simple Truth by JA Turley.

A "factual fiction" account of the 2010 Deepwater Horizon rig disaster on BP's Macondo project.

It's not a documentary and reads like a novel if you have any interest on how that whole situation came about.

I was more interested in reading about the necessary precautions in regards to protecting  patents.
Thought I don’t doubt Suzuki took his idea, it did become tough staying engaged 3/4 of the way  through.

Lot of recommendations on here . Rob Andrews book is the best and he actually wrote it himself as opposed to several mentioned here that were ghost written and at least one that was transcribed via recorded telephone interviews. Some recommended here are absolutely terrible tbh.

Buy Robs book. Also De Reuvers if you can get an English version here.

Anyone else keep seeing this thread as “Good MX Boots”?

SG-22’s for what it’s worth!
