+1 on the turnouts... but also we will soon have Ten factory teams entering the sport (with the entrance of Beta, Triumph, and Ducati). I would agree it has def grown and still growing.
I think this guy sums up a couple of the major issues with the sport today very well. The article was pre-COVID, and of course we saw a boom during those years, but that is waning.

Motocross is dying across the world and SX is basically seen as an extreme sport now....one which is unaffordable/dangerous and not something most families are going to invest in.
I remember seeing pics of 10's of thousands of poeple lining the hills watching racing in Europe. All without social disease media.
What about the last three races in SX? Looks like some cracks in his mental armor to me. Look I think Jett will be in the title hunt without a doubt. But for the OP to say that the Deegan hype will outpace the Jett hype is silly.
