Hi everyone, if you are looking to upgrade a front brake on your YZFs with a KTM Brembo calipers, there are adapters / hangers available, CNC machined from a billet aircraft grade 7075 aluminium. They definitely fit YZ250F YZ450F from 2016 onwards, WR250F 2020- WR450F 2019-, and I'm not sure yet about YZ (will find out and update shortly) and other models. KTM calipers from 2010-onwards. In the photos you can see how much wider the brake pads are for a Brembo caliper. I offer only an aluminium adapter / hanger, you can either use your Yamaha studs / pins and rubbers or KTM ones but it works best with KTMs retaining plate, clips nicely straight on, also Yamaha one fits however needs two little wings straightening. Also the KTM caliper uses a M10x1.0 banjo bolt, different to Yamaha one. Price for the adapter is £60 or $75 plus shipping, I'm based in the UK, can ship worldwide. Drop me a message if you are interested. Thanks20231024 135838

I'm surprised that this hasn't been done before, definitely something I'd get if I get another yz. Fits the stock 270mm disc I assume?

I’m interested in one. Sent you a message.

They will fit 2007- current yz250f and 450f

and 2008- current yz125 and 250

as long as you have a 270mm rotor which didn’t come standard until 2017 I believe

Thank you mate. Let me have a look, I'll get back to you within few days. From what Ive seen online CRF calipers are pretty good ones, on older Yamahas people were actually putting Honda calipers, I wasnt expecting someone would be interested in those to be honset. But I'll have a look into it, got both Hondas and KTMs calipers to measure.

Thanks Mate,

Would definitely be interested. I want to use the race style brakes that KTM offers on their hard part catalogs.

If you could do them for the Honda I’ll buy a set right away. Thanks

Hi Otofifo,

Nice item you have here! Just for reference Yamaha changed their fork lugs back in 2008 to the current design they have now. So if you hanger works on 2016 yz450f & 2020 yz125 then it will fit the following years:

2008-2024 yz250f & 450f

2008-2024 yz125 & yz250

Ill shoot you a PM & also post some pics for you with measurements if that helps 👍🏻

I could’ve sworn the 4 strokes changed 2007.
so I just checked part numbers and only the 250f changed for 07, 450 changed 08.
At least in Australia they did, I know we had a different spec bike to the US  back then

Somebody go buy @johnk408's Brembo front brake system + @otofifo's bracket and give us a ride report!

Wow, finally something available !!

Any chance making a model fitting the 280mm rotors ?

Let me know but I'm really interested in this project, I'm getting tired of this Nissin brake Silly

Thanks kary, and yes that wouldnt be to difficult to be fair, but time wise I'm a bit stacked at the minute, so can't say exactly when but definitely will come back to that 👍 is that disc for supermoto?

320mm is usually supermoto territory 😎

As 5280 stated 280mm for MX & SX but is 10mm oversized from the common current industry standard of 270mm.
