Considering the Anderson/Jett beef, curious to everyone's thoughts on what the reaction would be if it was Friese in place of El Hombre? After all, it shouldn't be about who, but the actions right?
My opinion is part of racing is keeping guys behind you and his brake check was after Jett ran him high and was yelling and revving his bike to moon around him on a one lined track.
Poll
Option 2 voters are a bunch of damn liars....
No way it wouldn't be different. Everyone would have Jett's back and want to light Vince on fire. In addition, had there not been the helmet grab session after the race, I bet there is not one thread about Andersons riding here.
Cool story. 👍
Imo the drone footage of JA and JL showed JA doing things that Friese is regularly crucified here for. Anyone who says that the sentiment doesn’t change according to who’s involved, is either lying, or very very naive.

Well Anderson didn’t clean him out or take him down so I wouldn’t care but friese is still the canoe variant of a douche
friese would have ran into him at Mach 3…I would have a problem with anyone doing that
furthermore, if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle (idk if this still applies in 2024 tho)
It doesn‘t matter if it is Friese,Anderson….,Jett will mop the floor with them all.If you like it or not, let‘s be real,he is in a league of his own!
I agree! But… lets carry on… Triple Crown!!!
Yeah pretty much, then cry if he doesn’t though which luckily for him isn’t an issue if it’s dry
but at the same time he’s what 4 crashes out of 6 gate drops in 450 SX or something like that??
A1 heat, San Fran main, San Diego heat, San Diego main
Yeah,4 crashes and only 4 points behind the leader!A lot of the regular superstars were in trouble, stop crying.
I appreciate it's a super fine line. Anderson's ride the other day was way less sketchy, he was committed to defending his line and classic brake checking you'd see in any supercross race. He rode defensively and half of the problems Jett had with him looked to be because Jett kept expecting him to move out of his way.
Also, not for me personally but these are factors in most Freise debates, Anderson was racing for a decent position at the end of the race, not 15th on the first lap.
Obviously subjective, and yeah I'm sure there IS some Friese bias from years of prick-ish behaviour, but imo it was different.
Like if Barcia had done it, I'd still be saying the same as Anderson and I've disagreed with half of Barcias incedents. That's a more appropriate comparison, again just imo.
I'm regularly wrong and it's only my opinion.
I’m not complaining about it just saying what happened jeez
just think about how big his points lead would be right now if he hadn’t made all those mistakes. He has essentially cheated himself out of 19 points which is about 25% of possible points earned
The difference is that Anderson is a SX champion with the potential to win any given race. Friese, not so much. So in my opinion if 21 is racing a wide bike, he’s doing so with intention to win, 125 would be trying not to go backwards.
There would have been two riders on the ground at some point.
To compare this with Vince’s past actions and earned reputation is laughable. Not even in the same hemisphere.
Friese often gets shit because he does his stuff going backwards, but so were Anderson (THIS time).
I have never seen this much love before regarding El Hombre. other times he is a punk, a stoner and whatever people call him. But this time it was against the rider people have waited for to fuck up so now we love Anderson.
It was more interesting when it was Barcia against Ando, then people had a harder time picking a side..
If Vince was inside the top 5, late in the race, holding off the golden child,,,, I'd be cheering my lungs out for him. If Jett grabbed his helmet afterwards, Vince would probably take it but later, bribe someone to take Jett out for him... As long as JA is in title contention, your boy is too. The bottom line is, if Jett had kept his hands to himself, JA rides off and everything is good. He had to act like a man though and now, he's apt to get treated like one.
I agree with this 100%. I have no problem with Andersons riding in San Diego. I think it was smart on a one line track trying to keep a guy behind him. I also love that it has shaken things up and makes Saturday that much better.
As for the "drone footage" Friese would catch more shit because that's the bed he's made for himself.
As for the rookie stopping after the race and attempting to dress him down right there in front of everyone I wouldn't have a problem with Friese treating him like a beLieber at Glen Helen.
It wasn't so much about the riding as it was the aftermath and how Jett and his teams handled the situation....
Pit Row
Did we run out of real things to argue about, so we had to manufacture a theoretical scenario to get everyone riled up?
Oh no, we've not run out, the many arguments are just ongoing and/or starting simultaneously
Trying to get your post count up? What a lame post/poll.
Absolutely it depends on who's involved, people just ignore facts based on their bias.
Lyin to themselves.
Yet here you are with the same old worn-out shitty attitude.
I don't think Friese would be in a position to hold off Jett long enough to piss Jett off (knock him down, yes), so I don't think you get to drive the Friese wedge to prove anything. It seems pretty clear that this is more a popularity contest than about how Jason rode or how Jett comported himself.
You should talk about it in your podcast
Like what?
I truthfully didn't notice anything that seemed too out of line?
Anderson moved over one time on the landing of that jump while both of them were wheels on the ground to block Jett, is that not acceptable?
I saw no cross jumping or intentional contact from JA but I'm open to hearing a different opinion because as much as the Jett ball gaggers are crying about it I musta missed something, certainly everyone isn't so pussified that good hard racing makes them cry right?
But the drone footage was 43 seconds of an almost 5 min battle. There may/may not have been other issues that caused the frustrations.
That's fair... I just figured if they'd whittled it down to these 43 seconds, then these were the most notable or at least closest moments. If that's the case, nothing there is really out of order.
Who posted the video? I missed that bit and I guess it is relevant.
Look in a mirror 70 post a day guy😂😂😂
There is an extreme amount of bias towards Friese. If you look at most of the things that people don’t like about him it would always be a different opinion if it was another rider. Thankfully some people are able to think independently.
