Who at the time was run by Christopher A. Wray, who was nominated by Trump.

So, another failure of Trump?

We'll call it a learning experience that will not be done again. In business I think it's called a teaching moment.

Trump ain't making sandwiches at Subway, homie.

Trump, when this happened, was the most powerful man in the world (who in your own words) was calling people names like a child, appointing shitty people, and not doing anything presidential to stop – or prevent – his own people from breaking into the capital building.

Aside from, "He's doesn't come from politics" – and without deflecting to something blah blah blah but he's better than any Democrats – what makes this pathetic excuse for a man worthy of anyone's vote? Was it because he was born rich? Is it because he, "calls it like he see's it", which is basically every drunk person ever? Or could it be his incredibly high moral values that include cheating on every wife he's ever had? Is it because he was on TV where he got famous for "playing business and firing people?

On paper, and in practice, he's awful in every metric as a man, leader, etc. I wouldn't trust him to run a lemonade stand without walking off whenever he got bored, yet so many people think he's worthy of running the free world for a second time.

Hell, you fella's like him so much you can't even bring yourselves to say 5 bad things about him without making 4 of them soft compliments.

It's wild.

Homie? Are you doing what you just called childish? Cause then you're right in my backyard since I'm probably the biggest child here.

sheesh "he caricaturized a lot of folks with funny names" reading comprehension 101 asking where's that Wombat?

You're jumping across a lot of time line there. And yet the facts are we were better as a country under Trump. That must really keep you up at night. Why do you suppose the traditional news conspires to lie about him? You say you wouldn't trust him to run a "lemonade stand" but you would trust Biden? Or Hillary? C'mon man.

Homie, dude, bro, mate. All terms of endearment.

Teacher: "Your son is calling other kids names."
You: "No. He caricaturized a lot of folks with funny names".
Teacher: "Uhhh, yeah. That's what I said."

And yet the facts are we were better as a country under Trump.
And yet you aren't willing to list 5 things Trump did that would be considered unpresidential which I'd say, makes you a tad too biased to make that call.

That must really keep you up at night.
Nothing keeps me up at night. I work like 100 hours a week on top of working out an hour every morning. My head hits the pillow and it's lights the fuck out.

And yet again, you gotta rope those pesky democrats into a discussion about the qualifications of Trump because we both know – Trump standing on his own laurels – ain't worth a pound of shit.

I'm in no way defending or not defending the FBI's actions on that day, but, at what point should the FBI stop a threat? They know something is coming, but you can't technically stop people before they commit the crime, right? Sort of like how you can't arrest someone who is going to kill someone until they hire the undercover cop to kill said person.

That said, I still believe everyone should have done more to prep just incase something went sideways, even though it's insane to think that you need to prepare to prevent a bunch of self proclaimed patriots from breaking into the capital building. And even then you get into a whole, does having lots of police there then become a point of instigation for people looking for a fight? Lots of interesting questions and ideas to explore about what happened that day.

But, at the end of it, being the CEO of company myself – much like how Trump was CEO of the Country – the buck stops with him (and me) and he has to take responsibility for encouraging people to go to the capital, the actions that unfolded, and his lack of doing anything to calm it; none of which he did or has done.

The FBI stops threats before they happen all the time. Like when they stopped the Governor Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping plot a month before the 2020 election.  Of course to be fair it makes it easier when the FBI is the one responsible for planning and carrying out the plot.

philG is right, the FBI is the threat.

Dumbasses that were going to kidnapper her ordered explosives from an undercover agent – which if you really think about it – is kinda exactly like hiring an undercover agent to kill someone.

But, in the words of the mighty, ToolMaker, "done for the day g'night."

How can anyone think J6 was anything but a desperate attempt by POTUS 45 to remain in power? Wild. Every coherent person understands what it was.

Every coherent person does.

It was a coup.

Anyone who believes creepy Joe got 81m votes, is a fool. And complicit.

This thread is hillarious! I just went back 3 pages and read through them to get caught up. Great stuff!

Beginning with the title 'Trump's VP'. LOL!

He has as much of a chance at being elected president as ToolMaker does.

Theres so much loyalty in democrat party that they are willing to accept censorship as a reasonable. They just along with it.

So much loyalty that they do not question the rigging of the primary process to have the Democrat leaderships desired outcome. They just go along with it.

So much loyalty that they never questioned the media or our leaders during the covid period. They just went along with it and did what they were told.

You aren't defending the FBI's actions, you're defending their inaction.

The problem isn't that they did nothing to stop what they determined was seditious conspiracy, they didn't inform anyone tasked with providing security about this dangerous plot. Is it because they wanted to see it played out, or is it because they didn't really see it as a threat?

Just like your claim that Trump is guilty of wanting to mastermind a coup. He was the most powerful man in the World on that day and remained President for two weeks after Jan 6th. Was he staging a coup against his own administration?

I can only guess because I'm not them, but, I feel like it was because of what I previously mentioned about not being able to arrest someone before they've actually committed a crime; which was supported by SRC's post about how they didn't arrest the potential Whitmer kidnappers until they bought explosives from an Undercover Agent.

Was he staging a coup against his own administration?
He wasn't staging a coup against his own administration; he was staging a coup because he was on his way out and he didn't wanna leave. Sort of like a kid throwing a tantrum as a last ditch effort to get their way.

I didn't ask why they didn't arrest anyone. I asked why they didn't warn the people in charge of security.

I also didn't realize that you don't know the definition of coup:

Dictionary

Definitions from Oxford Languages · Learn more

coup d'é·tat

/ˌko͞o dāˈtä/

noun

a sudden, violent, and unlawful seizure of power from a government; a coup.

"a military coup d'état brought down the government"

Trump was the President. How does one stage a coup against themselves?

You'd have to ask the Trump appointed head of the FBI, Christopher Asher Wray, as to why he didn't warn more people. You all wanna talk conspiracies? Why didn't the guy who Trump appointed for the job warn folks that Trumps people were planning some gnarly shit?

How does one stage a coup against themselves?
You realize that Trump's administration was all but over when J6 happened, right? That was the point of the whole fiasco, to stop the certification of Trump getting a little taste of his own, "YOU'RE FIRED!", medicine. If I get fired, I'm technically not actually fired until the paperwork is finalized but we all know I'm still fired... unless of course I get all my homies to storm the office building to try and attack the HR department before the ink dries (which is exactly what Trump tried to do). Loser didn't even have the decency to join his patriots on the front lines of the battle he sent them to fight.

Thank god I'm self employed! Fuck having my fate in someone else's hands.

The devotion his supporters have, to the point they won't say anything bad about him (despite his countless flaws), is terrifying.

Very Germany circa 1930's mentality.

Its not devotion.

Its the absolute 100% certainty that when you look at all the people losing their shit AGAIN to stop him, he is the man for the job, same as he was last time, and for all the same reasons.

Meanwhile, you are baby birding for a bunch of people who want you penniless, and replaced , and you are fucking cheering for it .

You used to be able to leave politics alone, and crack on regardless, but now we are at the edge of cliff, where the WEF, and Soros and all the other cunts bankrolling the Dems want it all.  You will have nothing, and you will be happy.

You have once great cities , that are dead , with people shitting in the streets and you think that is acceptable.

Trump needs in , and these fuckers need to swing.

And clueless pricks continue with their TDS and are blind to the fact that pretty soon they will be banging on your door wanting what you have ... then you are fucked.

Trump 2024, "He makes everyone angry!", could quite possibly be the most accurate slogan of all time.

Not only does it perfectly describe how he has nothing else to stand on and it perfectly summarizes how low the Republican party has fallen.

It’s such a weird mentality

If everyone I worked with said I was an asshole, people would say I’m the problem, even if my work hired a bunch of assholes.

but in the trump universe, him being an asshole means everyone else is the problem

ROFLMAO!

That's some deep Q-Anon shit right there.

You need to roll in some 'Elders of Zion', some pedophilia, some adrenochrome, and maybe 'JFK Jr is alive' to complete the thought.

You are the reason the USA is a joke to the rest of the world now.

A President who cant string a sentence together , a VP that is a diversity hooker, all being bankrolled by the type of people you should despise.

We used to be able to live without worrying about shit like this, now we have global cartel hell bent on destroying the Western World, and you think Donald Trump is the problem.

That is a special kind of stupid.

I am running out of conspiracy theories, because all the things we used to get called out on, have all come true.

It’s such a weird mentality

If everyone I worked with said I was an asshole, people would say I’m the problem, even if my work hired a bunch of assholes.

but in the trump universe, him being an asshole means everyone else is the problem

Yup.

Doesn't matter if he's right or wrong, good or bad as a leader, good or bad as a person, etc. because he makes people angry and we like that!

Super culty shit.

Phil, it’s really sad when you have the ability to see what’s going on from across the pond better than the ones over here with it right under their noses!

I have met some great people in the US , but fuck me, the amount that are totally clueless about how the world works, is insane.

All these folk who think that it wont affect them, are in for a fucking rude awakening.

On a side note, i am watching Barrett Jackson on YT and stuff is selling for buttons $100k cars struggling to make $35K

Its always a good barometer of the world , to see what is fetching what , and while our car market is on its arse here, with 3 year old used stuff making fuck all, collector cars losing 2/3 of their value is a sign of things to come.

Watch some WWII docs dude, you sound just like everyone in Germany circa 1930's...

Germans defending their admiration for Hitler, "Its not devotion."

Germans talking about why Hitler is the man for the job: "Its the absolute 100% certainty that when you look at all the people losing their shit AGAIN to stop him, he is the man for the job, same as he was last time, and for all the same reasons."

Germans talking about Jews: "You are the reason the USA (Germany) is a joke to the rest of the world now."

Germans talking about people who defended the Jews: "Meanwhile, you are baby birding for a bunch of people (the Jews) who want you penniless, and replaced, and you are fucking cheering for it."

Germans talking about people who are anti-Hitler and pro Jew: "And clueless pricks continue with their TDS (Hitler hate) and are blind to the fact that pretty soon they (the Jews) will be banging on your door wanting what you have ... then you are fucked."

Germans talking about the Jews: "You have once great cities , that are dead , with people (the Jews) shitting in the streets and you think that is acceptable."

Pretty scary shit, man.

You are as clueless as anyone i have ever seen, and its a fucking low bar , that you manage to walk under wearing a top hat.

The Western World is being overrun, and you are cheering it on.
