Yes, sadly, it is true. He is currently in surgery at OSU hospital after being landed on at the

Huntington, WV race. Please, no one call the hospital or family.

I'll be talking to brother David a little later and will update, accordingly.

Keep Chris and his family in your hearts, please.

Jay, I just talked to his older brother, David - it is indeed very serious and Chris and

his family can all use and, are thankful for - your thoughts and prayers.

Chris is currently in surgery and will be for the rest of the day.

Much else is purely speculation at this point.

Please let us all just wish for the best and , for now, let the family

have their privacy until we know more.

He rode for Team Samsung/Radio Shack Yamaha and was featured several times on "Reality of Speed" on Spike TV. Nice kid...nice family. The Blose Family wishes all the best for Chris and and his family. We will keep them in our thoughts and prayers. Keep us posted PLEASE.

Please tell Chris that Shand Garcia over at Holeshot Mag is praying and thinking about him. This is sad to read, as Chris is one of the nicest guys out there. Chris was a direct impact-player on the 1st real advertisement I ever sold for Holeshot Mag, back whe he was in Texas doing the Sammsung Yamaha Team & Reality of Speed TV show. Chris's attitude and commitment to the advertisement's photoshoot was second to none! Not a week goes by I don't think about Chris.....that ad is hanging right here in my office. I will always be grateful to the #149 Whitcraft!!

Monday night 900 PM Update - according to brother David, surgery went very well, lots of

complicated procedures were performed.

Chris currently has some movement and we're all hoping and praying for the best,

Chris will be in ICU for the next few days at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus.
