Preemptively, I could not care less if Hunter is in A or B. I feel like I’ve seen in the past exceptions be made for other riders that clearly ~should~ be in A, but for whatever reason they did not make the main. It’s not like he’s the 23rd fastest rider…he just got Friese’d in the heat and then had a mental meltdown in the LCQ.

The A practice this week should be the first 22 guys from last week. If someone is not racing then they can add a rider to A or just leave it. But everyone is there and they put 23 riders in A, clearly Hunter getting a favour from someone. I'm guessing Honda and Mirtl lobbied for this to happen.

We know what Matthes' Race Tech Rant will be already.
