I’m pretty sure that’s been a factory Honda thing for a long time. Or at least some combination of it

Current bikes are on par in regular form. Just not jetts. They ruined the hrc look with purple and yellow.

When you're in a rush to change out parts, running different colored levers makes it easier to know at a glance which is the clutch and which is the brake.

*I have no idea if this is why they do it, but it does kind of make sense.

You could even buy both black and silver levers from Honda in the early 2000’s.

i had a stock black brake lever back then that was from the modern days, not a old 80/90’s black lever.

When I was 13, I used a black clutch lever to look like American Honda bikes Laughing

I prefered by far the feeling of the black lever. Jett bar levers grips set up is very unique.  Kind of BMX set up.

Pretty sure that i saw in a video that both Hunter and Jett ran stock bars, but Jett ran higher mounts in the clamps.

It’s so the mechanic knows which side to put the lever on.

Dazzy said a while ago that Jett and Hunter are both having to run Fat bars because they run there leavers so far in due to His dad making them have there levers like that so if they crashed they wouldn't snap levers.
