Anyone have the story on why Perris in now closed on Fridays? I hope it's a temporary schedule change. Major bummer if it's not.

Probably due to lack of riders.  I was there last Friday and even with it being a holiday week it wasn't as crowded as I expected.

Its cause sleepy Joe Biden forced everyone to get a second and third job to survive in this economy. Fridays are regular work days instead of early/3 day weekend ride days.

Not smart to do so with such late notice. Have some outta’ town friends who rode Pala/Fox on Tuesday, planning for Perris on Friday…Timing couldn’t be worse

Not quite: Perris was the only main track open on Fridays of your list. Elsinore's schedule is Friday: (8am-3pm) Vet, IV, 65/85, kids tracks only...

Tough timing, that's all!

I don’t ride there anymore but lots of guys have been boycotting Perris because of the prep , at least that is the rumor.

I'm slow and was stoked on the main/ new layout. I could see how the fast dudes would venture elsewhere....

I love that track and it was my Go-To, but I too stopped going because of the prep. The last 4 times I went, the prep sucked, over water in the morning and was not fun to ride. Have not been there with the new reverse layout.

They watered the track last week which was surprising given that it rained 3 days prior and there was no dust. Definitely cut into flow of the practice motos.

Haven't heard great things about Perris lately. I haven't been in over a year, not because I'm boycotting but Elsinore, LACR and GH have been so good, I haven't felt the need to have another track in the rotation. Hope they can turn it around soon.

I feel real bad for you guys having to boycott 1 of your 12 track choices over unacceptable prep conditions.

I was considering the move until I heard about this unacceptable no-Fridays situation!

We only have one track that opens during the week at night around me. All others are weekend only. Y’all are lucky.

Maybe tell a few of your homies how great it is because we’re sick of them moving here.

Stupid comment and you offer no value to the topic. Someone had mentioned that the main was closed on Fridays and I stated it was open tomorrow. It is funny that you feel the need to tear something down to attempt to make your point but that is the only way some know how to do. I always enjoyed riding all tracks I could as each one typically has something to offer. Glen Helen, Cahuilla, State Fair, Milestone, Comp Edge, Amp, Race Town, Perris are and were fun tracks to ride. I hated to see the ones that closed have to shut down as it doesnt seem to be any new ones opening. If Perris is your favorite track go there on the days it is open and have fun and keep the rubber side down. I never rode Perris where it was not fun just as Scott Cooney rode the GP and had a good time. Enjoy your day

I miss 395, Comp, Milestone and the old StarWest (not state fair) dearly. We need new tracks to start opening up.

Sadly I dont think we will ever see new ones opening, We lost Zaca Station, Piru I believe Gorman is closed at the moment and I think there are a couple I am missing. I miss AMP I only got to ride it a few times but it was fun. We are so lucky in Socal to have so many tracks to ride, a few years back My son and I were at Comp Edge and there was a guy there from the Illinois area and he was on vacation riding as many tracks as he could on his way out and back but he told me where he lived it was 3 hours one way to get to a track

By AMP, do you mean the track that was off of Stoddard Wells Rd in Victorville? The land, the starting gate and most of the track is still sitting there. No one nearby to complain about noise or dust. Wish someone would reopen it.

Gotcha. Didn't ride there but heard it wasn't open very long. Another piece of land that hasn't been developed.

My sincere and heartfelt apologies....I was just light heartedly responding to a comment that also provided no value.

Did not mean to strike a nerve, you are clearly a proud Cali boy....so like I said, be sure to keep telling your homies how awesome it is the rest of us in the free states are tired of them moving here and ruining a good thing.
