Yeah its a one piece setup thing, not sure how they make it work but thats what it is. Its kind of weird and unpractical but im sure you all notice how you sort of slide inside your pants on quick acceleration or seat bouncing if it was one piece you wouldnt have that as much.

You do always see the guys messing with the crotch of their pants getting all the play out of it before the start.

Makes a little sense to give it a try considering the history of Alpinestars pants falling down.  LOL  I'm sure with their history in road racing, they have a solid place to start.

I've been wondering why this has not been done before.  With the new flexy materials it makes more sense to do a one piece . Snowmobile,Go karts,Street bike, Automotive racers have had single piece driving/riding suits for years now.

A single piece suit helps with  some issues like pants getting pulled down and jersey's coming untucked . Might be better at keeping sand from getting into Your gear, or could be worse.

From a designers point of view, it would open up some more design possibilities without needing the rider to line up the jersey and pant prints when They put them on. I do not have any specific design ideas. But I think it would be a cool option.

Might just be another phase like over the boot gear, baggy gear, Neon, colored tires, etc.  I think its a cool concept, but I've been looking into making some stuff like this recently so I am biased about it being cool since its been an idea of mine. Too many ideas and not enough time.

Agreed, but moto guys are the same ones screaming to bring back 2-strokes. Not sure how receptive they'll be to form fitting onesies.

It is strange how so many Moto guys want the newest latest greatest things, but also do not want anything to change. Its such an odd combination. I agree that there will be a group that will hate it. But I like the idea . Leatt has some for MTB's . I think FXR might have some MTB single piece suits too.

One of the downsides of the stretchy gear right now is that You have to wear it tight fitting. If not the pants will get pulled off. A one piece suit could be made to fit a little looser and still use the stretchy materials.  So it could also allow for some slightly looser fitting gear with the stretchy and flexible materials.

How much money did a pair of pants cost Tomac?

Edit: still don't like it though.

Seems cool, always room for improvement. How do you get it on?

Hard to tell from the picture, is it a one piece bib pant over a jersey or a full-on onesie?

He better be a lot faster this year if he plans to show up at Anaheim wearing a skin suit.

He probably switched gear brands and is wearing that for click bait.  Got us talking about it.

Russ Jarman, former British championship and occasional GP rider told a funny story in a recent interview.

He had a clothing deal back in the day (90s?) from a funky Euro manufacturer (I can’t remember which one. Wind? Or Wulf maybe?) They brought out some ugly gear with wild animals or something printed on it, which they called ‘Wild and Free’.

Russ said he was winter practising in the U.S. and Mike Healey(?) was there.  Mike asked him WTF the gear was that Russ was wearing.  Russ said, “This is the hot new gear in Europe. It’s all the rage. It’s called ‘Wild and free’”.

Mike thought for a moment and said, “Well it sure is wild”. And I really hope it’s free!”

Surprisingly all I did was Google onesie. Give it a try, I was shocked at the top results with photos under sponsored.

It’s two flaps on the upper back that open up and you step into the whole thing.

I am sure there is logic somewhere, but there is one huge factor that kills all logic (IMO), riding pants need to be tight as all heck around your butt..  My experience with pants that may be loose, are also going to be loose in the rear (especially for my old ass), and loose material around the ass leads to sliding and movement, sliding and movement is less control.  Unless there is some sort of belt to these, it would have more movement and sliding around on the seat.

I am sure we will all be seeing how it plays out.  LOL.  But just sharing my red flag for this idea.

Should work good for a professional moto athlete like Christian Craig.

As for why this concept is not in the marketplace...  Ummm have you noticed the average male body composition lately? Especially in the good ole USA? Sick
