Looks like it has some potential! Backyard tracks everywhere!

Those customer reviews tho...
Might as well get the Surron or Talaria. This small ones Border on toy bikes - “Power Wheels”.
Not that small but you might be right about just getting a Talaria or Sur Ron.

That price though, $1549.00 I did not look to into the details yet. But You could buy 2 of them for less than a sur-ron , and race with your buddy or kid, girlfriend , wife , maybe even girlfriend and wife could race each other . I think a Sur-Ron would be more fun and capable, and there are tons of aftermarket parts out for them already. But it's kinda like comparing a Sur-ron to a Varg when you compare this bike to a Sur-ron. The Sur-ron seems in the middle of the 2. Both price and performance wise.
How do you get wife and gf to get along and ride electric pit bikes together, asking for the guy down the street.
Probably fun for a weekend, but longterm probably not worth the hassle, lol

My son wanted one so I built him this. It’s 99% complete but we have been riding it. It’s fun but it has its place. I like the fact that I rode one evening for 20-25 minutes and the wife had no clue.

The magic of an electric bike??? I don't know but if your buddy down the street figures it out , make sure to let us all know.
For $3k the Talaria xXx is hard to beat
Kids can sneak out for a ride without the noise giving them away
They might not hold up for the long term vs a Talaria or Sur Ron. Plus you aren’t going to hit many big jumps on one. Don’t get me wrong, like I said in my video, I really enjoy riding it. It’s just not a replacement for a gas pitbike.
I bought the EBOX 1.6 for my kid about 6 weeks ago. Have a handful of rides on it, with the top speed turned down he's getting 2+ hours of ride time on it. Seems pretty solid so far, for $1,350 shipped to my door and no tax figured I'd take a chance on it.
It does have a keyed ignition, so you can stash that away to control when they ride if needed. The adjustable top speed and throttle response is pretty nice to bring a new rider in. I've ridden it around, seems pretty solid, goes a legitimate 28mph, brakes are good, fork actually works. Figure he's on it this season and then onto a 110 next year, possible a 65 pending his progress, and this will pass down to the younger one next year.
They are not really meant for big jumps anyway. Just like a stock KLX 110 is not. I never said they are a replacement for anything. For people who have an acre , they may be a way to ride a little more often. A cheap way to get a kit into riding.
I am surprised at how inexpensive they can make the Sur-ron's and now these pit bikes, yet EMTB's cost more to get a decent quality bike. But imagine what a company like Honda could do if they made a powertrain that could be modular and scaled up or down. Using the same batteries , controller's and motors for Cars, motorcycles and ATV's . The costs could come WAY down from where they are now. Raw materials to build a Varg were around $500 euros , or around that Is what I think Anton said. So if you can spread out the tooling and production over many models you could get the cost to come down. Electric vehicles can have many fewer parts and be built faster too. You might have 4 CRF motors in a Car or UTV, and 10 or 20 battery packs. Stuff that can not be done with a gas powered vehicle to the same levels that electric can do it.
I don't know if Electric will ever be a total replacement for Gas power for everybody. Especially since dirt bikes and atvs are made mostly to be fun. Many people may have more fun on a gas bike than electric even if range and charging speeds get to the point they are no longer an issue. I'm just happy that its becoming an option that will make riding in some places possible that was not before. And Electric Pit bikes make a ton of sense . build an oval track on a half acre in a subdivision.
I have one, I like it. its not the same level as a surron, different category altogether. This is an easy bike to just load up and take take to the track that doesnt take up any space or need an extra gas can for. A full charge will easily get you through a weekend. Last weekend (2 days), I used like 5% battery. Its like 1/4 the price as a surron also if youre just wanting a little play bike or pit bike. My daughter likes it too, nothing to worry about her getting burned on either with the exhaust.
You rode around the eBox 2.0 for 2 days and didn’t need a charge?
Yes as a pit bike. So to and from signup, check results, the bathroom, concessions, watch races, etc. friends borrow it too to run up and watch a race or whatever.

Where is everyone getting their E Box from?
https://eboxelectric.com/ebox-2-0-electric-pit-bike.html
Thanks. That says that they'll be shipping mid August and the last time that I checked that site it said July. I was hoping some where had them in stock. Who has an Ebox? How does the 1 compare to the 2? I was looking into the Electro and Co models first but they are sold out as well.
Any updates to this? Strongly considering getting a couple
I have just went to using as an actual pitbike. The controller is bad, you let off the throttle and it surges forwards. It is very cramped. I was hoping it would be the size of a KLX110 but it is more like a CRF50 with larger wheels. For kids it would be ok except for the jerky throttle.
I ended up getting one for my 9 year old. It has exceeded my expectations.
It is well built and very solid. Has cheap but effective hydraulic brakes and suspension.
Battery lasts a long time with my 50lb 9 year old on it and I can rip it pretty damn hard on it at 170lbs!
Taking my son out to the hills to ride some trails this weekend. I'll post an update afterwards.
So far, totally worth it. My kid has been riding at the local parks and its so quiet no one cares!
Rode 14 miles of trails and ed ripping around a minibike track on Saturday over about 4 hours. Bike had 35% left over. Terrain is hilly and rocky. Several creek crossings and got rained on, bike was perfect all day. Thing rips at full power in the dirt with my kid on it. Trail riding was pretty slow paced. Rode it at the park where he was doing higher speeds and batter lasted 2 hours down to 5%
Really impressed! Can't belive the battery lasts as long as it does.
Going to pick up another this spring!
That's good to hear! Did you get the 2.0?
Yes have the 2.0 unfortunately the motor went out this past weekend after about an hour of riding. Stomp has been helpful and I should have a replacement soon. Other than the motor issue bike has been ridden almost everyday. Very impressed even with the motor failure
