Good morning Vital,
I have been trying in vain for months to remember what it is called in a factory rider's contract when they get paid by gear companies. It's something like "endorsements" or whatever. Like, a factory rider gets their factory contract with a base salary and then they're allowed to sign "endorsements" (but I am sure that's not the correct word) for boots, helmets, gear, goggles, etc. WHAT IS THAT WORD?
The reason I am asking, is that it has come to my attention that NFL players also get paid directly by helmet sponsors and I just can't think of that word.
Clause?
Sponsor?
addendum?
i don’t know.
side hustle
Endorsements?
NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness)?
I call it a "movie check" as in...

Auspices? Just a guess, but what the fuck do I know other than it's a plural noun, and it falls under the definition of sponsorship....... Readers beware, I'm not bright.
Or possibly just an Auspice. A singular version of the afore mentioned.....
I think it's just always been referred to as "sponsors". Team contract and then outside sponsorships. Gear, exhausts, coffee, donuts...whatever.
An endorsement is when you sign something or put your name to it. In the case of sponsors, it is "the rider endorses brand ___." The arrangement is called an endorsement. I've also heard them called "secondary sponsorships."
Easy Easy Money for nothing, chics for free!!
I'm probably not asking it correctly. It's a word like "endorsements" or "incentives" that is thrown around a lot in mx circles but I can't for the life of me remember the word. So dumb. "He just signed with Honda for $3.5 million plus INCENTIVES (?)" (or whatever the word is.
Contingencies?
BINGO!!!! I think that's it! Thank you.

That ain't working, that's the way you do it
CRS?
I thought Chad Reed Syndrome is when you say "umm" a lot during an interview, not memory problems.
