I usually run 250B (before I got my Stark) in California so I'm on the faster side, but not quite pro level speed. A friend of mine rode it that is more on the C class beginner side and he thought the stock suspension was great, but his YZ450F was beating the crap out of him, hence the idea that popped in my head haha.
When I ordered my bike I went with one spring rate stiffer than my actual weight, and I think that was a good move. A lot of this could vary based on the conditions we're each individually riding in so I wouldn't read too much into my experience or let it taint your view of how you feel your suspension is working, but I found mine to be riding too deep in the stroke on the forks and the updated valving helped a lot for me personally. If you can have someone video you coming into and out of a corner, then slow the video down to look at the action of the fork and shock. Sometimes it can be really counterintuitive because forks that are too soft will feel stiff and harsh if they're riding too deep in the stroke.
Thanks for the info!
Now I'm nervous about Stark's recommendation (per the salesman) to drop my rate from 165-175lb to 155-165lb!
I'm midpack vet C at best, so hopefully it suits me still! I was hoping to avoid revalve/resprung.
What sag have you stuck with?
I rode one yesterday for 10-12 laps. I have one reserved and was pleasantly surprised with my experience. I get why people think it'll be trash, but to be completely honest- you need to ride one to really form an opinion.
I would keep your spring rate, nobody I know has gotten theirs and had to drop a spring rate because it was oversprung. I think you'll be just fine with the stock fork settings, the shock may be a little stiff but again, feel it out for a few rides before you go making any changes based on what you read from me or anyone else. I've kept my sag at right around 100mm, I don't like the rear end of my bike riding too low so I tend to run less than most though.

We have found most KYB suspension has good hold up and feel till about 8-10 hours. After that time, it has a tendency to fall deeper into the stock than when new. I can see how a little stiffer spring would compensate for this condition. Not so noticeable on the rear but needs some clicker changes to get closer to the new feel.
To be clear, it was a turn track/some woods... not fair of me to give a final verdict on suspension yet. Most likely it's very close to spot on. What was clear was the amazing good traction and being able to finetune/modulate the grip/throttle. I felt very confident out of turns with it. I have NOT been on a mx track with it yet. (which will be the primary/100% use, I don't enduro nor do urban riding).
I’m too lazy to google clever responses to fit a narrative that describes oneself
where’s my music video?
No, actually I find it better that AI respond because anything I have to say is immediately invalidated by the vitards.
Seems you're willing to invalidate google as well in the name of your narcissistic quest. I am not the supply you're looking for.
Hmm I wonder why. You spew a bunch of non sense and when you get called out you post some sort of music video or Wikipedia page instead of having a conversation. Your not actually capable of having a good faith conversation.
Truth hurts
I will LYK when I hear some.
Better yet, let us know when you actually speak some.
The guy suffering from hallucinations wants to know about truth. LMAO.
What have I hallucinated about?
Just because I've called you out about stuff that you've then been a little bitch and deleted doesn't mean I hallucinated...what it means is that you aren't man enough to own the shit you spew.
bro, I hate to tell but that is a hallucination you seem to be having over and over..
And you keep bringing it up over and over in every thread you jump my ass in.
"
Imagine that, you can't back up anything you say yet again.
It's honestly fucking hilarious that you would just think that nobody has noticed the shit you've deleted and that somehow you think you're the smartest guy in the room while repeatedly being called stupid by everyone else.
My favorite one you've deleted is the post about how your Wife likes real pipe, that's not a secret, everyone in the NY Moto scene knows exactly how she likes it.
Pit Row
How about you guys start a group chat somewhere and bitch at each other there?
Hahahahahha, the ole switcheroo eh? I’m dizzy from all the circles, time to get off the merry go round.
I went ride today, what about you? There were a couple Vargs out there ripping it up also. It was fantastic to see, all $15k of them. Meanwhile my bike needs a new top end may as well do valves, springs and seats also. I’m nearing the $15k total spend after a couple years. Probably should get a Varg and never have to touch it for two years for the same money. What say you?
I guess I struck a nerve with that one.
Get a life, dude.

Remember that time you posted a picture of a trophy where you podiumed a race that only 3 people entered including yourself.
It's the off season, people are bored!
Back at ya Johnnie.
Keep telling us how big of a sack of shit you are Lon.
The rest of us are just hoping you haven’t bred so the idiocy in your bloodline stops with you.
This dude seems like someone who likes to chatmore
I liked Chatmore, and I even like Magoo. The arguing here has gone beyond moranic. I'm a moran, and even I think it's a bit much. If you're going to keep arguing stop holding back like pussies, and go full bore so it's more entertaining for the rest of us!
Just how many people are you?
