As I set here at Discount Tire in Lufkin Texas. Figure I’d post something. Before they hit me up for just south of 1900 bucks for 3 tires. They are going to replace one for free under Warrenty….yeah me. Anyway I got to thinking best looking bike for looks.
Forget brand loyalty, reliabilty etc. What’s best looking racing scooter for 2024.
I just bought a new Beta 300 RX a few weeks back but not my favorite with respect to look. Although it’s not bad.
Honda CRF R as plain as it is still best looking bike if I had to pick. Second would be Suzuki. Third would be Beta, next would be GasGas and not factory, just plain red one. I didn’t rate KX haven’t seen one in the flesh. Might change my mind if I had.
What ya got for an opinion.
$1900 for 3 ? You driving a bucket loader, brah ?
You’d think and I didn’t buy the most expensive. 295x50’s or whatever they are aren’t cheap.
The Honda looks excellent, real good looking bike. I wasn't keen on the twin pipe era but the current CRF looks great.
I think the new Kawi may be the one, but like yourself I haven't seen one in person to confirm 😂
Suzuki always look cool.
I'm not 100% on the new KTM's looks. The new Husky does look tidy though. The GasGas is cool because it's red but the plastic shape is just a tiny bit 'off' imo.
The Yamaha, like the Honda, is a big improvement over the previous generation.
Betas and TM's always look pretty trick but always a little too crazy / skinny / pointy plastics wise for me personally, though I'd overlook any aesthetic for a 200cc 2-stroke.
I think they're all pretty decent these days, like the mid 90's or mid 00's.

This is based on showroom stock looks, not race trim
I am not overly brand loyal- last three bikes were Honda, Yamaha and KTM..
But right now I think KTM has the most modern, best looking bike- specifically the radiator shrouds I think give it this look..
I’ve thought Honda’s were ugly since the 90’s ended, but these new bikes look great
I didn’t buy a 2023 Honda cause I thought looked cool. Couldn’t find a Yamaha. Once I got the Honda home the light went off, sharp, scooter. As far as Beta, when I got to the dealer and saw one up close it’s busy, cool looking but busy. Also didn’t realize all the stickers in Italian with words I can’t pronounce lol……but they look cool.
I’ve never seen a TM other then online so can’t comment.
Honda has always been smart, people buy red. Doesn’t matter what it is, car, scooter, boat whatever……..red sells.
I haven’t seen a KX in real life but it has smooth lines. So does the new Yamaha but I’m wore out on Yamaha blue and KTM orange.
Honda.
I bought a husky which I think is one of the ugliest bikes on the showroom floor lol. I don't care what they look like stock when custom graphics can totally transform the bike.
Those 50th Yamaha's definitely make me feel tingly though.
Cant help but love the look. something about them looks fast and aggressive. (im a honda fan boy)
The new KTM's color scheme is way off. Kind of turns my stomach every time I see one.
Honda or stark for me but I like em all and think each have something appealing to me. Hell it’s a dirt bike.

Black/Silver Rims and no Monster Logo and it would be absolutely perfect.

I second the Beta
$1900 for three tyres? That's R38,000.00 in mine...sounds like a robbery..
One thing I find frustrating about monster is they have no problem doing variants of their logo on their product but won’t do anything other than the neon claw for bikes, even if it’s just a one off livery for a certain race. Check the fridge rack in any gas station a you’ll see 40 different monster cans with as many different colors and texture variants for the logo. But then Yamaha comes out with a special edition color scheme for a single race or short series and they have to plaster the same green logo on it. Everybody knows your brand and the announcers can’t mention the bike without saying monster. Would it kill you to put a purple claw on the shroud?
1st. Honda
Distant 2nd. Suzuki
Everything else
Dead last. KTM
It ended up being $1830 American for 3 tires with, road hazard Warrenty, tax, whatever else Discount Tire charges. Probably as cheap as I could find. Discount Tire in Lufkin, Tx is a mad house, busiest discount tire I’ve ever been too. Every seat in the place to wait take and people out side under canopies. Place was full of soccer moms in big SUV’s and oil patch East Texas boys with big trucks spending the same money as me. With that said, I bought big tires, 295/50 I think. About 34 inches high if I had to guess. Tires for 2500 Ram trucks aren’t cheap. At least I didn’t have to buy six tires like When I drove a one ton truck. I got heavy stuff to haul.
Don’t want to blow all my cowboy cool and drive a Honda Ridgeline!
Morning wwdiii, two comments…
1). That Beta of yours is extremely good looking.
2). What the f**k are you doing in Lufkin from League City buying tires ?
Beta’s Rock!!!! I like that wing seat in the pic, first I’ve seen of that.
I’ve got to now the owner of the Beta dealer where I bought my 300 RX from pretty good, He already has deposits down on 450 RX’s. He was told Nov. I keep bugging him about getting info on a 250RX, he was told at last dealers meeting a 250 RX is in the works for whatever that means.
I think the 24 KX and the Beta might change the pecking order for lack of better terms.
The Hondas are very good looking. I wasn’t crazy about the GasGas FE until I saw it in person…Now it’s in the garage.
These Husky’s are dam pretty in person….
Badass. Congrats
Suzuki by a long shot for me. Must be the yellow?
You got your bike from Ronnie I believe right? He's a good dude for sure.
I'm surprised Beta is doing a 250 MX bike since they don't have any 250 4T and would require a completely new engine design. Good for them for expanding if so and will open up some doors for other riders who don't want to be on a 350 4T or larger.
