It says they are neken brand on them. Part number doesn't bring up any specs online. Bar brands seem to not have Gas Gas stuff only ktm and husky?

Anyone know the stock bar specs?

Thank you!

FYI I hate them and want to make sure I get nothing like them lol. My throttle wrist kinda locks and gets a pain up my  under forearm. Just came from a 2022 kawi 250

Same bend as Renthal's McGrath bend.  Can check it out on their worksfit tool. https://www.renthal.com/worksfit/

If you like the Kawi bars, just get the stock Kawi bend.  Most bar companies sell a version of it.

Same as KTM so similar to Renthal 821 or Pro Taper MX race bend. If you compare the 821 to the 839 (stock Honda/Kawi) the angles are about the same just the 839 sits 13mm higher and the KTM bend is wider. To me a KTM feels cramped with the 839 but good with the stock bar/821. You might try cutting the stock bar down to 800-805 mm before you buy something else to see if that helps. It is really stiff so you might be feeling that.

Is there a bar type for a softer feel? GG doesn't have rubber inserts in the mounts so maybe that's my issue too.

Is a Clcross bar or no cross bar softer?

Thanks !

As others have said, the GasGas bars are the same Neken bar as a KTM.   Keefer complains about the Neken bar in all of his KTM tests.  He says he switches to ProTaper EVO bars for more comfort.   I have a 23 GasGas and I don't mind the bar bend and I don't feel it's too rigid, although I spend plenty of time on a YZ250 with rigid bar mounts and ProTaper Evo (SX Race) bend.

It is my understanding that the OEM ProTaper bar on a Husqvarna is essentially the same bend as the red and orange brands.  That may be a good starting point.

I would measure your KX bar bend width using the Renthal Works Fit tool...
The KTM/GasGas bars are 813mm wide while my other bars have always been in the 800mm to 805mm range.
I have considered cutting a set of the Husqvarna OEM ProTaper bars down to 800mm to try on my GasGas.

You can also get the KTM or Husqvarna top triple clamp for your GasGas and use the OE rubber damper bar mounts or something like a Ride Engineering bar mount.

No cross bar is softer.

Of all the no-crossbar bars, the ProTaper Evo's are generally the softest, comparing the same bends.  Although your hands are at the same place, the Pro Tapers use a more shallow bend that looks like it would flex more.  The downside is you end up with less control mounting area.

Yep, the OEM-Husky bend is basically the same as the KTM/GG bend.  I have cut down a few pairs of them (about 5-10mm on each side) and put them on KTM and GG.  As I said above, the Pro-Tapers already have pretty short control area, so cutting them makes this even worse.  So be careful if you're running handguards, map switches, etc.  It can get pretty tight.

I have the ODI Podium Flight McGrath bend on my MC250.  It is the same as the OEM KTM/Hus/GG bend but comes at 805mm.  I'm not particularly sensitive to bar flex, but it feels good to me on the stock solid GG mounts.

I am confused here. I have a set of Protaper Husqvarna bend bars and they have a pretty big control area. It is bigger than on a stock Honda/Kawi bar.

The stock KTM bend has a little more sweep and is 2-3mm lower than the Husky bend. They are close to each other, but they feel different to me on the bike.

I have tried the KTM vs Gasgas clamp and could not tell much difference in engine vibration through the clamps on a 250f. The Protaper Evo bars I can feel flex when loading the front end compared to Neken/Renthal. My hands hurt after a 90 minute off-road race on Renthal vs Protaper Evo.

Yes, they are very close.. like 1mm diff (per specs) as aees said.

The PT Evo's have short control space (the extra wide width of the stock Husky bars counters this a little, of course).  I specifically swapped from PT-Evo's to Renthal Fatbars on a few bikes to get more control area so I could run the lever perches further in.   Keep in mind, you have to compare same bend across brands as some bends have more or less control area even within the same brand.

Protaper says 210mm control area. That is the most control area of any evo bar bend. Mx race also has 210. Renthal 821 has 200, 839 has 200, and 827 (old ktm bend) has 222.

I think the stock Husky might be less than advertised.  They have a very shallow/wide bend to them that puts the end of the rise way out there.  Like I said, I cut 10mm off each side of the stock bars.  In theory that put me at 200mm control area.  I swapped out for the Renthal 827 to get that extra 22mm on each side.  That's almost an inch. Huge difference when you're strapped for space.

I can move my levers in pretty far on the Husky bars but I only cut 5mm off each end to get the width down to 800 mm.

Is a Clcross bar or no cross bar softer?

Thanks !

We'll have new bar mounts available for the GasGas (and other M10 interface bikes) in the next couple of weeks. They include three different rubber bushing sets for varying levels of shock and vibration reduction.
