Back in 2015-2016 it was feeling that way as well. Crazy how they all said it would be trump to start WW3. Even crazier is how this feels like 1990-94 and 2001-2016 all over again. I can only comment on those years as those are years I can remember or knew about in a non historical sense.
Would anyone want to live through it? My guess would be if you were to peel away all the layers of what's been happening lately. You'd probably find that China has influenced most of it. Why does it seem we must have our weapons, our energy, our funding tied into all these conflicts. China is an agitator, that is promoting a war of attrition on the U.S. Once, and if we ever get to the point of having to defend our own country, there'll be nothing left to defend it with.
Well...I'm 65. I haven't seen everything but I've seen some and studied a lot of history. That old saying about forgetting history means you're doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past is as true now as it ever was.
We have ALWAYS been one decision or incident away from catastrophe since time began. WW1 was when war became global and it's only gotten worse since then.
Unless you have super powers then like the rest of us...just get on with your day. If you can't fix it then just be the best dad, husband, son, man you can be. Sounds defeatist but put your effort where it can help others.

We told Serbia to get there military out of Kosovo now last week. The Serbian pres let thousands of Albanians into there country in the 70,s. Everything was ok until some Albanians formed a terorist group & started ethnic cleansing. Serbian pres order the military to stop them. Our diplomat said you’re not stopping it etc . Serbian pres sent the military to Kosovo. We bombed them no military made it there. Then we gave them a 78 day humiliation bombing of schools, nursing homes, places where people gathered,natl monuments ,etc. My 2nd to last co my dispatcher lived in Serbia. A super cool guy he,s actually an attorney but they don’t make nothing. He was 9 in 99 when we bombed them. I felt with quite a few people living in Serbia . They still Love America. Usually they comment on a rap video they saw. And say oh man I have to see that some day. The actually very cool. My last co my Elog gal lives in Lithuania so unique & extremely gorgeous. The other women were the same. We got along great. I researched there country. The citizens are buying guns like crazy. In fear of a Russian attack. It’s crazy all ovr the world.
