You must really like Stewy then, on Transworld he said one of the best things about missing the Outdoors was he got to go Church on Sundays.

1. James Stewart- Because of his win at all cost attitude, and raw speed. There is no other rider that is still amazing to watch when they are all by themselves.
2. Chad Reed- Because he may just be the toughest guy out there, riding while body parts are practically falling off, puking in his helmet, whatever is in his control(last week was the bike) to stay in the mix.
3. McGrath- Showtime and the most dominate rider ever!
4. JLaw- Mostly just the fact that it seems he says what he wants, and not just the rehearsed speech you hear every week.
5. Sean Hamblin- The guy just keeps coming back, and that is just pure love for the sport.
6. Ryan Hughes- Yeah I know he is retired, but still one of my all time favs. Bar none, toughest guy around!
I'd say Tedesco too, or Pourcel. I love how CP doesn't fit in, is so un-apologetic and keeps everyone guessing. Still bummed he missed out on the Outdoors title.
My favorite rider growing up was Tallon Vohland, I'm not even sure why, I'm 20 and barely remember seeing him race but he was my favorite for sure. At a national I just missed him in an attempt to get his autograph as he climbed into his rental car to leave the track. He began to back out and I realize he was about to run over a barrel, so I ran grabbed it and moved it. I got a jersey and an autograph after that. It made my year!
"Mad" Mike Jones was another idle of mine. Having an X games medalist as a neighbor was awesome, having an X games medalist who would come ride your track and have a beer with your old man was epic!
I also love watching Pourcel ride, but he's just plain weird to talk to lol.
I really dig Villopoto. Just like his style, no bullshit, no bling, just ride WFO whenever possible. The weird thing is, I wasn't aware of him coming up as I don't follow the amatuer scene too much... knew of the Alessi's but not him so much.
So, at Glen helen in his first Pro race, I'm standing at the first turn and some dude is going on and on and ON, about this kid and how he's gonna be the next big thing... I'm like "whatever, please stop talking now.." lol.
So, anyhoo, gate drops and here comes the pack, Alessi and some others out front, and this crazy mofo on the PC bike is
fucking FLYING way on the outside of the second turn, WFO in a line where there WAS NO LINE... Sold me! been a fan ever since...
That said I like all the top guys, even Alessi... a little.
I guess you did.
Yeah he's probably lying about that.
Someone lists his favorites and you respond with a post about James Stewart.... wtf?
Pit Row
a. He's a fellow Australian
b. Left home, family and country at 19 with girlfriend to chase his dream on the other side of the world.
c. Won just about everything there is to win (except MXoN although he has won a moto)
d. Never gives in no matter obstacles are in his way.
e. One of the few guys that I feel truly believes they can win on given weekend regardless of who is lining up with them.
f. Never brought the sport into disrepute with off-track behaviour.
g. One of the very few guys who can say that raced and beat the GOAT (in SX at least) on more than one occasion.
h. No disrespect to Americans, but I like to support sportspeople who hail from smaller countries and really stick it to the "superpowers".
That's the best "Main" I've seen in a long, long time.
The way he came back and took a shot at getting the lead back...well...it's about time someone OTHER than JS7 approached a race like it isn't over until the checkers are behind you.
I'm glad I took the family to that race...it made me proud of my sport.
I'm jus' sayin'...
Jason Lawrence - amazingly talented, never boring, extremely intriguing in a raw human sense, often times frustrating, but honest, and a great interviewee.
Kevin Windham - too much talent to speak of, a family man, lots of staying power.
Jake Weimer - I knew he had more in the tank and Mitch found it. He only lacked confidence and drive when he was on Hondas - the talent was there. Now, on Kawis/PC, he's found his stride.
Ryan Villopoto - Raw talent on a bike, no non-sense, but boring.
Ryan Dungey - Great guy, incredibly talented and great face of the future of the sport, but needs to put in a lot of work on the public speaking front - probably needs to do more things outside of moto.
Truthfully, I can't think of any of the current rider who isn't a favorite.
Can't forget Reed - talented, one of the greats, a warrior and he's always there.
how can ya not love Khorkhog
always has been even when he was on 80s and always
had the style even as an 80 rider.
