It was cool when he would post on here.
Similar in age, I still remember a magazine of both the boys ripping on 80’s and looking so factory. I used to look at the pictures everyday wishing I could have that.
RIP Jeff.
Curious, why did you have to black flag them?
Damn. Very sad. RIP, JEFF. Regards and love to the Alessis and other loved ones.
BTW...There is no way to call his cause of death a "massive heart attack" unless his heart was continuously being recorded by an EKG monitor prior to and at the time of death. And even then an autopsy would need to confirm that preliminary COD. It would be a rare event if he actually died from a myocardial infarction at his age. The only thing that can be said with certainty is that eventually he suffered a cardiac arrest (which is not synonymous with a heart attack) from an unknown cause which he eventually succumbed to. There are many possible precursors to cardiac arrest including stroke, pulmonary embolism, organ failure, trauma, etc. Every one of us will eventually succumb to a cardiac arrest from various precursor causes. But what caused that cardiac arrest is to be determined by the medical examiner pathologist.
To the idiots who say it was caused by a vaccine, or an OD or suicide, go be stupid elsewhere.
That being said,
RIP, JEFF

Condolences to the Alessi family, sad news.
You're watching the GoPro of Ray Mejia. He was a Monster Kawi guy in the DR at the time. Jeff is in front of him almost the whole race.... he bumped Jeff off the track into some people in the crowd, supposedly.
So bummed to hear about this. He made the 801 look way cooler on the track then I ever will
10-11 years ago at a local race here in Reno, he was here with his family. He tracked me down in the pits just to talk about our numbers, when we started running them, how we got them, etc.. I thought it was the coolest thing he came over to BS with me. For the 2 or 3 hours or so we hung out that day, he showed a huge passion for the sport and he came off as one cool cat. He was just another racer that wanted to bench race and talk everything moto. Sorry for your loss Alessi family and to his close friends.
Roost in peace 801
Wtf.... how very sad. Prayers for the Alessi family...
I liked that he chimed in from time to time here...

Gone too soon... RIP.
He was a pretty cool kid. He’d post here and people couldn’t accept what he had to say. Personally, I thought he was great.

This is a preliminary report so far from what his mom told me and needs to release.
Jeffery did not overdose, there was no drugs found in his system. He was not vaccinated with the COVID shot. He did not have COVID when he died, and finally, he did not shoot himself.
Preliminary reports is 1 of 3 things; a seizure that lead to a fatal heart attack, heart attack due to his very high blood pressure that he had recently been diagnosed with in August or a blood clot from an injury a few days before his death that lead to a heart attack.
Jeffery had a life of a lot of love. Love for fishing, love for racing, love for his family, and most of all, love for his fans/people. He never met a stranger and the kids he trained were like his kids.
He was the guy who would never let you down when you needed a smile on your face!
Please remember Jeffery for that guy, not for his passing!
He is in heaven and no longer in pain from his feet and back.
Please give the family the privacy they need so now no more assumptions!
Thank you!
So very sad, may he RIP
I hate to hear this and my heart goes out to the Alessi family. Really awesome at the amount of support going out to the family from the moto community.
RIP Jeff. May you continue riding in the afterlife.
This is truly shocking news. 34 years old. Wtf
Many memories at Perris!

Did anyone ever find out what happened to Jeff?
What I heard was a sudden heart attack caused by blood clots.
Wow, I wonder what causes clots like that in someone of his young age? Was something like Forkner had in his head that required brain surgery to remove. Scary stuff for a young and healthy athlete to go out like that.
Leg and foot injuries can cause blood clots and Jeff had plenty of both.
I've known Tony since the late 80's and I'll take his word for it.
Well if you are hearing it straight from Tony and this is what happened this is very scary and relates to all of us, including Jett and Tomac at the moment. So now the question is, if we do have a foot/leg injury are we supposed to take blood thinners or something like Neprinol?
Maybe consult a doctor and not a dirt bike forum? I’d start there.
Hi everybody!!!
Nah, might be best to hear from others who have taken them. I've had them for surgery but not for leg/foot injuries but it poses a good question if that's what happened to Jeff.
Lesson for everyone.....about a month after Jeff Passed I myself had a heart attack. 47 Years old, healthy, no red meat, no sweets, road my bike upward of 100 miles per week, I was even taking a daily asprin and medication to reduce my triglycerides......While on a 25 mile bike ride on 11/11/2023 at about 930 am on a brisk 27 degree day I instantly knew I was having a heart attack...on a biek trail in the middle of no where...i called my wife and she called 911 and I rode 2 miles to the nearest landmark knowing that was my only chance....15 minutes later I was in full cardiac arrest and received 37 minutes of chest compressions and 10 defibrillator "shocks" Much of it right in front of my wife in the ER. Breaking my sternum half my ribs and even 2 vertebrae in my back...these heros just would NOT give up on me.
What happen was called a "widow maker" basically a piece of plaque broke off my Left Anterior Descending artery and it almost instantly clot and thanks to some amazing Paramedics, police officers and ER Doctors and Nurses I am here to tell the tale and have made a full recovery. I was told about 10% of people survive this when they experience it in a hospital.....outside of hospital ? probably less than 1%.
Moral of this story ? I have horrible Genetics, I know I do so I was doing everything I could to prevent this from happening AND IT STILL HAPPEN. If you have terrible Genes, dont ignore them !!! Numbers that are "normal" for most are elevated when you genetically predisposed to it. If you have a grandfather, a father, an uncle who died from a heart attack at a young age ? take care of it as young as you can.....
Very good riding buddy died at age 49 in August. Blood clot in hip. He had been dealing with horrible foot and ankle injuries for several years. Extremely healthy otherwise. The hardest working guy I've ever known. Construction. Ate right. An athlete.
Amazing story and thanks for sharing, glad you are here to tell it and spread awareness.
This is horrible as he was still a spring chicken in my book. Especially for someone who's doing it right and saying healthy. I've just heard so much about clots lately that it's making me wonder. My cousin almost just died from one as well and was in ICU for 5 days. He is a very healthy athlete too.
