For all these mini dads looking for some kind of return on their kids racing, really rubs me the wrong way. For these "serious" mini dads who go out and spend (and brag about it) $25k on up think about that kids college fund or lack there of when they're burnt out or too many injuries.

Make every weekend out fun and quit looking for that return. My kid has given away more trophies and plaques to the people who've helped us "that's his return".

I'd like to know who the dude is. I was born and raised in Tallahasse and have lived there most of my life, know most of the racers in the area and I'm wondering who this dude is.

First he comes in bashing the Zach and Chase Bell for looking sad all the time, when he doesn't even know the family. Now he's bashing our racing. Get a grip, the economy sucks, turn outs are down all over, having/not having a banquet isn't a reason to race or not. Even getting a plaque/trophy isn't a reason to race. Hell, I have to race guys like Earl May, so does teggers, so my chances of getting a trophy when Earl May or Marcus Ricketts shows up is slim. I don't pack up and go home. I try to start up front with them hang on as long as I can and learn what I can. That's what racing is all about.

You want to race a series with a good banquet, try the FTR MX series. They have a kick-ass banquet at a Disney resort. Very nice....ooops, no contingency money...damn we cant' please this guy!

teggers is right on, you should not reply to someone like me. Really, I come on here to stir shit up especially when work pisses me off I want someone else pissed as well. NY already has a bad name...lol

And the best banquet to me in Florida is for the Dade City series.
Last one I went to was in 02 if I remember right.
Now they even have more sponsors and more money to give out, great for young riders.

I am a NY'er and yes NY does suck for motocross. Any jackass with half a clue goes and races the NESC series b/c district 3, 34 and whatever that other stupid district is sucks. Call me out or whatever but i've been riding/racing since 83. New England tracks are where it is at.

I raced at Connecticut River Motocross in CT and Since Tony took it over it is one of the best tracks near NY. Lot's of doubles, too many tables. Kinda small for 450's but they run a good show.
