yes and it will be announced later this week , I’d assume either be Wednesday, no later than Thursday
I heard he is having an energy drink conflict with Red Bull & Monster in regards to SMX, any truth to this?
No, he's cleared to race. Announcement is Friday.
Who is his mechanic now?!

An employee from Star Racing most likely
Hope he finds his form again in 2024, he adds so much spice to the action when he's on it.
For the SMX races, I bet it's Eli's guy "Jelly" but for 2024 race season it'll probably be Alex Campbell (Ferrandis' guy).
I wouldn’t be surprised if his practice bike guy austin went with him to star
hes seen training at the farm in Deegans new video on a Star Yamaha…
Ha if you are trying to keep something quiet why put numbers on the bike in practice
Looks like he’s “put on a few” in that first pic
I feel he’s going to do well. He’s got a point to prove. I don’t think the bike even matters at this point.
Webb was kicking ass in SX this year. Even with the KTM bike "issues". I can't see Webb going to Yamaha without knowing the issues he was having when he was riding 450 Yamaha (pre-Star) have been fixed.
Webb has always been the underrated guy in this sport....and he's proved everybody wrong. Heart of a lion....that's why I'm a fan.
My non-insider opinion....
Was Matthes testing his bike no worries!
He was really good in SX this year, that's true. But so far the biggest factor we have seen with Webb since he moved to the 450 class was either being with or without Aldon. He was a fucking beast from 2019-2021. Then without Aldon in 2022 he didn't even come close to winning a main. Then back with Aldon in 2023 being an instant title contender.
It's just something with that structure/training that clicked for him and I'm really interested to see how his second try without Aldon works out now. I really thought more people would talk about this.
Maybe he learned from his "best off-season ever". I think he can win on any bike as long as the other factors are there.
I'll be interested to see if there's a marked improvement in the whoops, back on the Yamaha.
I know he was never great like say Craig or Chase, but I'm still interested in whether they are conclusively slower on their new Austrian bikes (just counting Craig's as new given the limited time on it).
Either way, always excited to see a fired up Coop racing!
That was my first thought!

Looks like it was just a blurry picture lol. He actually looks pretty damn lean in the press release photos certainly looks a bit leaner than in years past, hes not a tall guy so a few pounds is pretty obvious on him.
Agreed....the Aldon factor will be interesting to see.
