Such a good podcast/video. Interesting to see their slightly different perspectives on some things, but also how much they obviously respect the current top guys.

I had to laugh every time Chad said "clever." Must have been 50 times.

Yeah, that was a great show. I usually listen to podcasts in bits and pieces. I watched that one all the way through. I love how at the end Chad was trying to get James to get back on a bike. First it was a hard no, then...maybe.

No, take a shot every time he uses the word "UM" , you'll get drunk faster.

I thought they said they were going to do another video with them just discussing their time racing each other. Along with questions from fans.

I think that will come later.  This one was good, but that's what I want to hear 100%.

Very cool but with these two in the same room, I could care less about Ironman race recap. I want the juicy stuff!! Unadilla 02, SX 09, Phoenix 2010, ATL 2011, SX 2014….so many memories to unpack. I really hope there’s more to come.

I might be a little biased but James jumping back into the public eye after starting Bubba’s World and doing commentary has been one of the best stories over the past couple years.

For a guy who was usually quiet and more known for his insane talent and skill, hearing his insight and seeing his passion for the sport is awesome.

Ever heard a recording or transcription of anything you've said? I almost guarantee you say it just as much, it's wild how desensitized we are to those odd "fillers" in our conversations.

Yeah, he said "data" is the word of the day but I'd have guessed the word "clever" was for sure. He used it so much it left me wondering if there's a way to gauge the cleverness. Where is an example of Jett being more "clever" than others? No doubt he's a smart racer!

It was great. Surprised it took days to see a thread about it. Yes, I could have started a thread myself lol

I agree 100%! I'd been saying it for a while and I think even RC is better when paired up with James Smile

Years ago I worked as a transcriber for a company developing speech-to-text AI. We actually had to distinguish between 'um', 'er', and 'erm' because humans say them so much!

I really enjoyed Chad being on there, they both have good chemistry and good takes. I might listen to it a second time  Grinning

I think it happens a lot more when you know your being recorded.
