https://treystire.wordpress.com/recent-work/Hello everyone, my name is Trey Stire. I am 20 years old and I currently attend West Virginia University. Last night, I asked a question on the PulpMX show about growing my platform and Vital was mentioned. Here is a link to my recent work, and I hope you take a few minutes to read some of my work.
I have been writing a series throughout the summer called The Unsung Heroes, which focuses on the top privateer headlines of the weekend. I have been fortunate enough to interview several top privateer riders for the pieces.
I hope you enjoy the articles and I am interested to see everyone’s feedback!
Welcome to Vital Trey!
Just breezed through a couple of your articles. Looking good, keep at it!

I'll check out your articles when I have a few minutes. I do have some technical/business advice for you.
Buy a domain name, most likely treystire.com, and make that your main website instead of treystire.wordpress.com.
Wordpress is great, and wordpress.com is a good place to host your website, but when your site takes off, and 10's of 1000's of people have treystire.wordpress.com bookmarked, it'll be difficult to move to another hosting provider, or even implement a custom site. It's better to decide on a domain name now. Then you can focus on building your brand, and in the future, you have complete control of what tech to use, and where to host your site, and to the 10's of 1000's, or millions of users with your website bookmarked, your web address will never change, even if you switch hosting providers or all of the underlying technology.
You can continue to host treystire.com (or a different domain name) with wordpress.com. The $4/month and up plans at wordpress.com all include a domain name registration for at least the first year.
You can also buy the domain somewhere else like namecheap.com, then host it at wordpress.com (or another provider).
Most of the users on Vital can't read, so make sure to use some eye-catching photos in your articles. Good luck, man, and keep up the good work.
I know nothing about journalism or growing a platform, but I do have some advice about being an entrepreneur. Focus first on getting better each and every day. Look to others for ideas and inspiration, but never compare yourself to them. Only compare yourself to who you were yesterday and focus on being even better tomorrow.
By putting the product (your articles and more) first and working every day to make them better the platform and everything else will come with it over time.
Consistency is the key to anything. The writing will develop. You can always go back and edit but you can't go back and be consistent. The posts and the Content look good, keep it up.
Like Bruce Lee said, "Words are energy and cast spells, that's why it's called spelling."
Most popular writers are trying to attract attention for marketing purposes and don't really say much. If you define your interests in your writing, it will naturally attract attention to that unique and genuine identity that each of us have, but few ever reveal.
Good luck

Bobke : A Ride on the Wild Side of Cycling.
A fantastic read and a good reminding us that the best part of racing is just being part of the fabric of what racing was in 2023 2013 2003 1993 or whenever you were really living it.
Someday you step away , it's nice to realize a whole is greater then the sum of its parts.
Good advise.
Once Trey buys a domain he can always redirect the Wordpress domain to his new domain. It’s not necessarily a lost cause having the Wordpress domain.
On the other hand, the sooner you buy and stick with a specific domain the more credibility you will build with Google (domain authority.) which is an overall score based on Googles belief in your site being credible.
