Check out this video I just found from about a week ago of Mitch trying to give a speech to an angry crowd in Kentucky. The crowd was not feeling it. I heard them chanting "Retire! Retire! Retire!" And a few other things that I couldn't make out, while he rattled off the same BS about the red team being good and the blue team being bad.

https://youtu.be/9tk9Xhosd5I

(Sorry I haven't had good luck embedding lately)

I heard about that but had not seen it. Its a bit brutal but how else is the message going to get through to Mitch and his handlers that its time to step down?

I didn't watch it all (too much cringe this early in the morning), but it was almost like he was in a trance, or perhaps had shut his hearing aids off.

Yeah it was really bad, they were even showing his family sitting there awkwardly. It really is not much far off from when kids run for grade school president. He's just there saying that the other guy is bad, I'm going to give you more lunch time and recess time. But his voters are clearly sick of it. It's nice to see. It would be a really good time for a third option on the ballot

That's quite sad, actually. He should be out of the public eye and public life for his own quality of life. His close friends and family should be having realizations.

From a humanity standpoint, I agree, it's sad.   Watching my mom deteriorate with dementia is hell.

Not a fan of RINO deadwood McConnell the politician.    ...but worst of all is the propping up of people like this in "power"...including Feinstein and Biden etc

This is a very bad look for us on the world stage.

Term/Age limits NOW.

Why can't these people (This dude, biden, Feinstein, etc.) just come to the realization ONE THEIR OWN that enough is enough and just step aside?  What drives these people to stay in office this long?  I mean, they've all milked the system to the point that they are multi-millionaires...why not just retire at a reasonable age and live a life of luxury?  I just don't get it...

Most people want to retire at 60/65...but politicians want to stay in office until their deathbed...I don't get it.

There is only one thing in the world that's harder for someone to release their death grip on than money....and that is power.

Power, like heroin,  corrupts and destroys it's host.

They're totally wrapped up in the illusion of their own self worth to their cause.

These fossils no longer represent anyone in this nation.

Just themselves, their egos, and the ones propping them up.

I doubt that dude is calling the shots. He was bought and paid for like Biden and the rest. Someone’s puppet. He can’t step down now.

The switch in Mitch has a glitch.

Either that or his RINO battery has drained down to an inoperable level.

Either way, time for him to go away.

No. No we are not. We are the laughing stock of the entire world because the usa public continues to support all these geriatric lifetime criminals. We do not have  the option to elect 1 single honest person to lead this ex great country.  The fault lies on the voters.  They could care less about honesty and integrity.  This country is dumpster fire. Nothing more.

By the time it gets to the voting public, they only have 2 choices. If they both suck - that's not much of a choice.

Edit: just talking Commander In Chief,  that is.

Even sadder is that the Repub debate last week had some participants that IMO would make pretty good presidential candidates, likely even better than anyone else I've seen on the Dem side too. But they don't have a hope in hell of getting any further.

We get the politicians we deserve. It's taboo to debate policy or politics in polite company so the lunatics run the show and we end up with the politicians we deserve.
