Whats the Napa stuff? Mineral spirits are pretty mellow, what you really end up needing is elbow grease.

The oil eater brand works pretty well and it is environmentally friendly. Until you get it dirty.... nevermind.

Make sure you use a high flash point solvent otherwise you could end up with a pretty nasty fire.

EZ Off Oven cleaner...OK, I don't use it in my parts washer, but I do use it on parts before they go into the washer. It removes 90% of the gunk that would end up in your solvent and you can't beat it for removing carbon deposits or old gasket residue.

Be careful with ez off on high gloss aluminum or bearing surfaces. It WILL take off the shine, damage bearing surfaces and damage sealing surfaces. VERY corrosive to aluminum and magnesium.

This stuff is the shit. The more expensive one you can paint the part as soon as it drys. low odor too.
