We all see plenty of negative remarks lately about this or that in the sport of Motocross, but I would like to hear some of the good out there about those tracks that go the extra mile to provide the best customer experience they can, and invest in their business. Examples below are tracks that most say are amazing and their hard work shows based upon public feedback. It also goes to show that tracks can be improved as well as their facilities. This is not a complete list.........only what comes to mind and you are welcome to add to it with tracks that you feel go the extra mile to make their track great.
Motobros in FL (New owner purchased it when it was the old Thundercross track and put in an amazing amount of work to improve everything possible it seems. Old Track video here > Thundercross Mx Park 03/29/15 - YouTube and New track video here > MotoBros - Okeechobee Mx - YouTube
Red Budddd! Always top notch!
Iron Man Mx! Looks amazing and hard work has gone into the facilities.
Okefenokee mx (Another track purchased and improved in a short period of time POV at Okefenokee Mx Park! - YouTube

Cycle Ranch
Baja Acres
Spoaks Mx
Horn Rapids in WA
That is not even close to a full list, just a few off the top of my head. There are many I am sure that go the extra mile but not all do so let's give the tracks credit that try the hardest.
It's not usually the tracks/owners/promoters its the GayMA/MX Sports and the lazy ass employees that make the experience lackluster/frustrating.
Welcome to vital newbie but exactly how was that a positive thing you posted?
It's not but most people's complaints aren't track issues, it's personnel issues.
I've been to alot of different tracks in multiple states and it's always the people running the show who are the problem. And not the track people, the AMA.
I am sorry but I am a bit confused. By people "running the show" do you mean staff of the track? If so that is still a reflection of the track ownership.

No the lazy ass referees who only follow the rules they want to and that won't get them yelled at.
It's happening right now at Ironman amateur day, making up shit as he goes
I am sorry man but my post was not talking about the AMA or the rules. I was only referring to tracks and their facilities. Sure I imagine there are problems in the rules. That is a whole other thread.
I was just referring to your negative remarks comment. The tracks I've been too have all be amazing, I'm sure there's some things they could do better.
But all my negative experiences have been AMA/MX Sports related and that's usually the case with most people.
I never made a negative comment. I was giving tracks a compliment and asking others to tell us about tracks that are very good.
I meant the fact that people post negative comments, I was just commenting on the fact that most are not the tracks/conditions/etc.
Daaaammn, that went from TahoeVetMX giving you a spot to give a shout-out to your favorite/ most improved track, to arguing about semantics. All in two posts.
The AMA is a governing body that governs the rules for promoters that run actual racing.
Outlaw series’s are not AMA series they do their own thing.
The AMA has not “run” the races in many many years ever since they sold off the AMA Pro Racing rights for Pro Supercross and Outdoors nationals series to Feld and MXSports are who run the show now not the AMA.
That’s not what this thread is about. It’s about good tracks and what people think that makes them good.
I’d add Cahuilla Creek MX. Always a good morning prep and fun layout, never been disappointed going there. Same goes for SWAN and Monster Mountain in the South.
As a positive note ….. I have been racing since 1976 and I honestly can not think of a single bad track. Challenging yes but bad no.
Every race I'm referring to has been an AMA sanctioned race. They provide a referee(s) whose job is to make sure the rules are followed and make decisions on issues that come up.
Most of them are lazy assholes who don't do their job because they don't want to deal with it. Or in the case of the asshole at Ironman this weekend, make it up as they go. They don't follow their own rules. They and MX Sports are a "who you know and who you blow" club.
Pinch me...
The "GayMA" is both dumb as f*** and on a level of bigotry that's literally from another century...
I would agree as I have ridden CC many times. I have heard stories that Monster Mountain is amazing.
When you go to court the cop says you were speeding and you say you were not speeding. Someone has make the decision on who was doing right and who was wrong and make the decision.
The referee is the judge and rules are always when a difficult decision must be made and there will always be one side or the other and it is the referee’s final decision on who is on which side or the other and well ….. that is exactly why rules are made and required.
Out of curiosity….. Have any of us ever volunteered to be a referee for a race?
Doubt you need to keep repeating the same thing over and over. Got anything that's on topic and positive?
Pit Row
I stated every track ever been to has been positive as far as the track prep, condition, gates, race flow, etc.
I was just making the point that the issues most talked about aren't track related.
That's your opinion and thankfully we live in a country that allows both of us to have different views of things and the freedom to express those views.
I'm referring to them not following their own rules printed and avaliable on line. They pick and choose which ones to enforce.
If your riding out of class there are rules to make sure you don't do that, rules that aren't up for interpretation or debate. I've been places this isn't taken seriously.
Limited classes, where they don't play by certain parts of the limited rules because they don't want to deal with it start arguments (both things I've heard from a refs mouth)
That's like catching both of us speeding and letting you off because he doesn't want to write 2 tickets.
These aren't volunteer jobs, they are paid.
Let's get back on topic please. My goal here was to let people give a shout out to those tracks that stand out in how they run their business. Motobros in FL is a great example of what is possible. Not only did they take a track that was almost a loss and make it very nice, but they also communicate and organize the ride days very well giving the riders maximum ride time. We should hear more from those great track owners so that others can learn to do the same.
