1. he is not
2. been vocal about the new bike
3. same
4. no team has space has mentioned retirement.
1. He is not. Just (even) more brainfarts
2. Bike
3. Slower but less crashes
4. I damn sure hope so. Cant think of a team though if he doesn't want to agree to a lower level one
Is it so hard to accept that Jett is that good? Do you have to make up some bs to justify why he is dominating?
Sexton said it himself he's faster this year than last

Jetson makes everyone look slow
When and where did he say this? The closest thing I’ve heard him say to that is, the pace is either faster or I’m riding like a monkey.
I can't recall off the top of my head where it was but he did say that a little while ago in an interview.
I am def a Jett fan, he is amazing! So is Hunter.
I just thought Sexton would be closer to Jett as Sexton has the speed, and he is battle tested with Eli the past 18 months.
So he gets a concussion at the first round, doesn’t come back until RedBud, and Southwick he says he still doesn’t feel like himself in a Vital interview, but he’s riding faster than last year when he was completely healthy, raced every round, racing an all timer in Eli. Okay, if you say so.
I didn't say so, Chase did.
Proof?
You said it yourself. Is Chase riding like a monkey?
He said it to JW. Go through the Sexton-Weigandt interviews and prove he didn't say it.
Multiple people here have said they heard it: the onus is on you to refute them.
Sexton interview starts at 3:13.
Here you go, from the Washougal post race press conference:
"Chase, an almost perfect season from one standpoint. Everything has been a podium. I think everything but one has been a second-place finish. Does that put a little salve on the wound of running second to your teammate?
Sexton: I don't think it really matters that he’s my teammate. It sucks losing to the same guy every weekend. Like he said, it makes us both better. I want to beat him. He wants to beat me. Jason is obviously getting better, so it’s going to be a fun last three races. But I don't want to lose to anybody. It doesn’t really matter who it is. Last year I feel like I lost ten motos straight to Eli and started to get better towards the end. My mindset always stays the same. I want to win. I feel like this is just making me better. Obviously, it’s been frustrating and tough, but I feel like our riding is getting better and better, and even compared to last year. Everyone likes to compare last year and this year, but I do feel like the speed is even higher. Every year the speed continues to grow, and with Jett coming in, I feel like last year I had a little bit more speed than Eli, and now I have a new kind of guy I have to chase down. I think it’s just an evolution of the sport and something that I enjoy and can take that challenge on."
Well, when you fall 3 times in a moto and end up 9th, I would say yes
Jett is in better fitness form along with being skilled beyond belief. Ferrandis was out SX. Jett raced half as many SX rounds as Sexton.
Ok that’s what I was looking for, can’t believe you guys spent that much time looking for it, it wasn’t that serious.
I guess looks are deceiving, because it looked like Eli and Chase were going faster last year, in my eyes anyways.
Pit Row
The subject was already discussed, so it took me about 30 seconds to find it since I posted it before.
Jett is simply the next evolution of speed on a motocross bike and when you look at him on his 2023 HRC CRF450 and compare him to videos of RC and James Stewart when they were racing back in 2006 and 2007, you can easily see the difference in pace the same way you can see the difference between RC/James Stewart and David Bailey and Bob Hannah when they were racing. Faster bikes, newer technology and evolving riding style results in the current unbelievable speed Jett and Chase are running this year. Sooner or later someone is going to up their game to run with the Honda's
The heat chase gets comes from the media hyping him to be "the next guy" last year when he battled Eli. But in reality he never was. Everyone knew who the next guy is, and as expected he turned to be the 2023 450 MX champion.
I have to say, for the 2-3 laps of the second moto where Sexton was right on Jett, Chase was riding the best I’ve seen him this year. Perfect lines, smooth and in control, looked comfortable on the bike. Jett looked sketchier or more out of sorts
The weird crash where he grabbed neutral was really unfortunate
Asks for proof.
Downplays the proof when you've had your ass handed back to you.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣
1. I don't know, but Jett and Chase are not leading the rest of the field by as much as Eli and Chase did most of last year. So, either Chase is slower, or everyone else got faster.
2. He didn't jive with the new bike. It seems they have it figure out now.
3. Who's to say? He looks like the Honda fits his style well, and you never know until you know, because not every rider gels with every bike. I thought Barcia was faster on the Yamaha than the GasGas, but Webb was way better going from the Yamaha aluminum frame to KTM. We'll find out soon enough.
4. Star said they were trying to work something out, but they needed to see better results. I think that's happened, and he's 2nd in the championship. That should count for something. I'm hoping he lands a good ride, and that he battles up front next year. It'll be awesome to see 4 or 5 guys battling tooth and nail.
If Triumph or Ducat don't sign Ferrandis, and if Ferrandis can get a deal done financially with HEP (which he should take, just a 1 year deal), then I hope he just get a couple bikes like Roczen's PC 2023 and get ready for next season (which I don't think he will). With the attrition rate we have every year, for sure he would be at the top of the list for a fill in ride, which on many occasions becomes permanent rides. The field is aging, so other riders may retire, and I don't think there will be a couple rookies moving up the next season. The musical chair would be more favorable next year if he is a bit patient.
Haha ass handed back to me?
I’ve seen that video before and knew he said it. Just wanted to get you fanboys in an uproar😏 you big dummy😘
Likely story.
1. Because he just went through a grueling 450 SX season, banged his head at round 1 and got a concussion, was not afforded the time to test and train for 3 months for outdoors like Jett had the luxury of doing. He’s missed several rounds and has been playing catch up all season.
2. Came into the outdoors coming off of a severe concussion from SX, fitness and bike setting was not up to par.
3. I think a little better in MX, about the same in SX.
4. I hope so, he deserves a ride.
It sounds to me like Sexton is saying that trying to save face as to why he keeps tucking the front and Jett embarrassing him. “Uhh oh yeah, I’m going much faster than last year”
