Seems to be a mentality difference between the Lawrence bros approach and the Deegan approach.
lawrences are there to race and let the cards where they fall whereas the deegans seem more interested in entertaining and being “bad boys” first. The first second Deegan gets to take a cheap shot at hunter I would bet he does it.

My guess is Jett is focused on the task at hand and doesn’t want any interruptions and RC read it and backed out. I respect the interview and RC acknowledging and respecting the situation.
He was basically taking a dig at the Deegans implying that Hunter is feeling the pressure, he should be winning these races. He said that’s not pressure, pressure is his family trying to feed themselves. Not word for word, but something like that.
