I’ve been keen on trying to get a ‘23 TM 144, seems like a great bike fuel injected etc. My local dealer said that TM is having trouble with the importer, and I was wondering if there are any 2023 TM’s in America.
Call Get Dirty Dirt Bikes, they will let you know. More than likely will assume import duties as well.
The US importer Get Dirty Dirt Bikes is temporarily closed until Sept 4th according to their website. Dave, the owner was going to Europe to hopefully insure TM's future in the US.
TM did have a '24 model release in Italy. Hopefully we'll see some over here! I'd consider buying a new one if available.
we have a 2022 TM144 new on the showroom floor
Where are you located and what dealer?

Interested to know too your location.
A quick search on DuckDuckGo shows it is likely Cycle Service Plus in Pearl, Mississippi. I just searched on his profile location and TM Racing. Found their FB site and found a picture with a TM in the background. https://cycleserviceplus.net/

edit: looking at his profile pic I confirmed their graphic.
Get Dirty isn’t the importer. He was handling some of the duties for a couple years though. Now he does the parts and has plenty in stock to cover anyone who needs anything.
At this point there is no official importer though. We keep hearing there will be news soon, but nothing yet.
That said I wouldn’t hesitate to get another one! Get Dirty is great to deal with and can take care of whatever you need.
BTW we had a 2019 144 and it was very fast! Also had 300’s with the new generation frames (2022) they handled extremely well! New 144 would be awesome.

My brother is a Polaris/Kaw/TM dealer. He can't get TM's right now due to the importer issue mentioned above.
He actually rides a 21 300 4 stroke TM and loves it. His grandson rides a 22 250 4 stroke TM. Both seem to be good bikes
There is no new information regarding TMs to be imported in the USA anytime soon. There is no communication coming from the factory. Other TM distributors in the world don't have a clue either. The current edition of Dirt Bike has all the new 2024 Two Stroke Dirt Bikes listed and TM Moto bikes are not there.
Had a 300MX many moons ago, it was a rocket. Always wondered why TM went through US Distributors like crazy. Great bikes and pure art
A 2022 may be unused, but it id not new. It is two years old now.
Depends on how one defines "new".
If "new" = unused, then it's new.
If "new" = current model, then it's not.
So if a new bike does not get ridden immediately after it’s produced, is it used? 😳
Spoon guy must only ride a key board LOL doesn't know a thing about motorcycle"s
OK non-current, pre-depreciated, whatever. It's not a slam, just an insight. As a matter of fact I bought a "pre-depreciated" 2023 TE250.
The '22 would be well worth it at good price. As long as there wasn't anything about that year that sucked.
TM'S are awesome motorcycles Period!!!
Again, it’s all about the front fender. If that’s good, then it’s golden 😎
